The Director will provide vision, strategy, and leadership for the ecommerce department while also being able to get hands dirty by working directly in platforms such as Klaviyo, Shopify, Google Analytics, Semrush, and Meta/TikTok Ads. The ideal candidate combines strong business acumen and leadership skills with deep technical expertise in digital marketing, marketplaces, and ecommerce operations. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: Leadership & Strategy (50%) · Define and execute Ethika's ecommerce vision, roadmap, and growth strategy. · Lead, mentor, and develop the ecommerce team across marketing, analytics, marketplaces, and operations. · Build cross-functional alignment with design, logistics, sales, finance, and executive leadership. · Analyze data and market trends to provide insights and strategic recommendations. · Own revenue targets, AOV, conversion rates, and customer acquisition/retention strategies. Hands-On Execution (50%) · Manage and optimize campaigns across Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, Walmart Marketplace, Shopify, and other ecommerce channels. · Configure and optimize email & SMS campaigns via Klaviyo. · Monitor and improve SEO performance using Semrush, Google Search Console, and other tools. · Track and report on KPIs using Google Analytics (GA4), dashboards, and Excel. · Update and configure the website using basic HTML/CSS and Shopify theme settings. · Execute product launches, promotional campaigns, and merchandising strategies. · Troubleshoot and resolve ecommerce issues in real-time. QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing or related field 5+ years of professional experience building and leading high-performing e-commerce development teams in a fast-growing organization. Demonstrable expertise with delivering outstanding digital consumer experiences, with frequent release cycles, which directly impact a company meeting its business goals. Partner with key cross-functional teams to ensure all relevant organizational goals and implications are factored into eCommerce projects. Highly entrepreneurial with extensive knowledge of the components of a profitable ecommerce business, including digital marketing, site experience, analytics, customer insights, content, sit merchandising and customer journey Provide expertise on current eCommerce industry best practices.
