Job Description
The Ag Analytics Intern will be a contributing member of a team responsible for crop analytics across North America supporting critical decision-making related to the sourcing of billions of pounds of potatoes.
This intern is a resource to the Sr. Manager Ag Analytics and will help progress our crop analytics and reporting capabilities by building data visualizations, automating data pipelines, and improving predictive crop modeling. The intern will gain insight into numerous datasets used for crop analytics including weather data, input pricing, field sampling, potato quality, and yields. This internship offers the opportunity to gain experience with real-world applications of data science curriculum. The intern will be working in collaboration with other members across the North American Ag Services team.
Duties & Responsibilities include:
* Automating Data pipelines within our department's various systems.
* Improve yield modeling training and execution through automated ETL process.
* Build API connections to relevant internal and external Ag datasets.
* Build Power BI dashboards.
* Import open-source satellite imagery.
Basic & Preferred Qualifications
* Must be a current Junior, Senior, or Master's student enrolled in a related program: Data Engineering, Computer Science, Business Analytics or related field
* Minimum GPA 3.0 preferred
* This is a full-time position with 8-hour shifts Monday-Friday, but a successful candidate may need to occasionally flex to other shifts (example: 2nd shift, night shift) as part of your capstone project
* Valid U.S. driver's license and ability to meet the Lamb Weston Authorized Driver standards
* Experience with data modeling, automation, warehousing and building ETL pipelines

Plans and assists in monthly ad spend for paid social media campaigns.

Monitor and respond to guest reviews, comments, and questions from our online community in a timely manner and monitor guest reviews.
Measure and analyze audience growth, engagement, content reach, engagement by content type, response rate, and feedback.
Utilize Facebook Ads Manager and boost posts for greater return on investments.
Communicate trends and customer feedback to appropriate internal teams.
Provides proactive analytics of customer data, conversions, interactions, and visits, plus uses this information to create comprehensive reports and improve future marketing strategies and campaigns.
Comply with regulatory laws, employee handbook, department policy and procedures, safety codes, etc.
Promote internal guest service standards through courteous and respectful behavior.
