The Role:
The Assistant Marketing Manager contributes to the overall efforts to position Suffolk as the builder of choice through the creation of best-in-class pursuit materials. Effectively coordinate multiple assignments while focusing on design, content, adherence to deadlines, engaging with the team, and supporting the company vision to Prove Impossible Wrong.
+ Assist or lead the RFQ/RFP process, collaborating effectively with key internal stakeholders
+ Review RFQ/P document and ensure compliance with requirements
+ Create visuals (icons, infographics, layouts) to communicate complex information within pursuit materials while adhering to Suffolk brand standards
+ Maintain library of graphic design elements
+ Develop, modify, edit, and proofread content for RFQ/RFP response including effective narratives, resumes, and profiles
+ Participate in meetings for pursuits and maintain organized pursuit documents
+ Assist or lead the development of slides, handouts, agendas, etc. for interview presentations
+ Participate in interview prep sessions
+ Develop collateral for business development and other internal stakeholders
+ Support the team as needed with the collection and development of content
+ Provide overall marketing support to internal departments and jobsites, as needed
+ Maintain and update CRM, as needed
+ Maintain awareness of the team's goals to streamline processes in support of functional excellence
+ 3-5 years in marketing, in the A/E/C industry preferred
+ BS/BA with concentration in marketing or graphic design preferred
+ Strong design sense
+ Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a focus on client service
+ Highly organized with the ability to multi-task and work well in a fast-paced environment
+ Ability to effectively manage time and balance multiple priorities
+ Strong attention to detail with an emphasis on quality
+ Eagerness to engage with and contribute to a high performing team
+ Technical proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (particularly InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop) and Microsoft Office (particularly PowerPoint)
