The EAD K-12 Unit is looking for individuals with an earned PhD or EdD who are interested in serving as an adjunct instructor for the unit. We are seeking a pool of candidates that would step into a teaching role on an as-needed basis for our MA, PhD and EdD programs.
Due to the vast array of responsibilities that exist for our faculty, there are times where additional instructors are needed. The ideal candidate would be someone who is interested in gaining graduate level teaching experience in a variety of courses. We are also seeking a candidate who is well versed in teaching adults.
Responsibilities
The candidates hired for an adjunct position at MSU will be the instructor of record for one of our Masters, Ed.D or Ph.D level courses on an as needed basis. The syllabus will be provided to the instructor for the course being taught. The adjunct will be entirely responsible for carrying out the syllabus that the faculty member developed for the course; teaching class sessions, grading assignments, maintaining the course website, maintaining ongoing communication with students, and determining and submitting students' final grades.

Minimum Requirements
We are looking for someone with an earned doctorate who has considerable experience in school leadership, ideally having served as a school principal or district leader. Applicants should also have strong written and spoken communication skills and be personable and reliable.
Assistant Professor must have a PhD, Instructor rank must have a Master's Degree, and Assistant Instructor rank must have a Bachelor's Degree.
Desired Qualifications
The ideal applicant also has experience teaching in the higher education setting and teaching in an online format.

Position Summary
The Director of Rural Medicine Programs plays a key leadership role in the development, direction, and management of MSU-CHM's rural medicine pathways, ensuring successful recruitment, admissions, and curricular programming for the Rural Community Health Program (RCHP), Rural Physician Program (RPP), and Rural Premedical Internship Program (R-PIPE). Job Information:

A full-time Clinical Faculty member in the School of Respiratory Care's BSRC Degree Advancement Program has the primary responsibility of teaching online students. As the course delivery is online, the faculty member may function remotely. Active engagement in School, College, and University service can be accomplished by web conferences, Google Docs, and periodic visits to the campus in Boise, ID. They will be the lead faculty, and content expert for selected courses and will be responsible for performing quality improvement tasks every semester to ensure the highest quality online courses are being delivered.
As lead faculty, they will be expected to be highly responsive to students of the program as a faculty advisor and promote the high quality of customer service that our School adheres to. Faculty achieve this by having online office hours and utilizing multiple modes of communication including email, phone, and video conferencing. The Clinical Assistant or Clinical Associate Professor is a member of the non-tenured faculty and is the rank for individuals who hold an advanced degree. For this 11-month Clinical Assistant or Clinical Associate Professor position, the workload is typically 20% service and 80% teaching.
