Datavanters bring a diversity of professional, educational and life experiences to realize our bold vision for healthcare. **About the Role** We're looking for a full-funnel marketing generalist who can drive growth across the entire customer journey, from first touch through long-term retention and expansion. This role combines lifecycle marketing, growth experimentation, and content development to help more users discover value in Datavant and continue deepening their engagement over time. You will partner closely with Demand Gen, Product Marketing, Customer Experience, and Product to create cohesive, insight-driven programs that move prospects and customers through the lifecycle. While this role does not own demand gen channels, you will support the growth engine through messaging, content, experimentation, and conversion-focused initiatives that amplify acquisition efforts and accelerate activation. This is a hands-on, cross-functional role for a marketer who loves understanding customer behavior, crafting compelling content, and running experiments that drive measurable results. **Key Responsibilities** **Lifecycle & Customer Marketing** + Build and manage lifecycle programs across email and in-app channels, including onboarding, activation campaigns, education series, newsletters, product updates, and advocacy outreach. + Develop expansion and upsell nurture flows aligned with customer goals, usage data, and product adoption patterns. + Partner with Customer Experience and Sales to create customer communications that improve engagement, retention, and expansion. + Support strategic customer programs like the Customer Advisory Board and event follow-up sequences. **Growth Support & Cross-Funnel Optimization** + Collaborate with Demand Gen on funnel initiatives by contributing messaging, content, and experiment design. + Develop conversion-oriented landing page content, nurture emails, and campaign assets to improve acquisition → activation performance. + Test lifecycle and early-journey experiments that drive activation and product adoption. + Provide customer insights and performance data to inform targeting, segmentation, and campaign strategy. **Content Development** + Write and repurpose content that drives both growth and customer engagement: landing pages, nurture emails, newsletters, product updates, blog posts, case studies, and customer spotlights. + Ensure consistent messaging and storytelling across acquisition and lifecycle touchpoints, partnering with Product Marketing when appropriate. + Help scale repeatable content frameworks that support both awareness and retention efforts. **Analytics & Optimization** + Measure the performance of lifecycle programs and growth experiments; use insights to refine campaigns and identify new opportunities. + Analyze user behavior, activation patterns, and engagement metrics to guide lifecycle strategy. + Report out on results, learnings, and recommendations for cross-functional stakeholders. **What You Bring** + 4-6 years of experience in growth, lifecycle, or full-funnel B2B marketing roles. + Proven ability to design, write, and execute lifecycle and growth programs that improve activation, retention, and expansion. + Experience partnering with Demand Gen on acquisition-focused initiatives without directly owning channels. + Strong copywriting and storytelling skills with the ability to translate complex ideas into simple, compelling messages. + Hands-on experience with marketing automation platforms (HubSpot, Salesforce, etc.) + Analytical, curious, and experimentation-minded, comfortable using data to guide decisions and improve outcomes. + Excitement about working cross-functionally in a fast-moving environment.
