Kforce has a client in Davie, FL that is seeking a Director of Marketing Technology.Summary:The Director of Marketing Technology will be responsible for the support and evolution of all package and custom applications in the marketing portfolio, including Consumer Websites, Mobile Apps, Loyalty Programs, Marketing Offers and Promotions, Campaign Management, Customer Relationship Management, etc. The Director will be working with the business leaders & business relationship directors to define and prioritize enhancement and project requests for these applications, and ensure that the work is built and delivered as agreed to, and to establish and manage Service Levels for all the supported applications. The Director will lead and manage a team of employee and contractor Systems Analyst and Product Owners. This role is tasked with delivering a functionally strong, aesthetically pleasing, and seamless user experience for the websites, digital environments, and other platforms created by the company. Responsibilities:
* Understands the goals of the company and needs of the business owners

* Aligns business goals and needs through deployment of existing applications functionality or assisting with the development of new functionality

* Drives technology strategy development, solution discovery, service management, relationship management, and project execution

* Develops business application and digital roadmap strategy, planning and communication

* Reviews, analyzes, and assists with defining business applications and modification requirements to systems

* Assists in the evaluation of third party and vendor provided software

* Prepares key technical inputs for steering committee level and strategic planning sessions and actively participates during these session

* Partners closely with the Marketing and Digital Marketing teams to align on objectives, programs and KPIs

* B.S. or equivalent degree in Computer Science or 8 years of experience in IT Application Management and Development required

As the leader for Technical Marketing , you will shape the technical go-to-market (GTM) narrative that explains how our products work and what customer outcomes we deliver. You will play a critical role of informing, inspiring, and delighting our technical practitioner-level customer and prospective customer audiences.

You will create technical sales enablement assets and produce compelling product demonstrations to illustrate how we address customer challenges. You will develop how-to guides to help practitioner-level customer audiences reach buying decisions. You will collaborate with Product Management and Product Marketing to ensure GTM content is technically accurate and delivers contextually relevant messaging that will resonate with targeted technical audiences. You will work with Splunk Technical Sales Enablement as subject matter expert to guide the development of Tech Sales training and enablement.

You will be comfortable in a player-coach role where you will remain very “hands-on” but will also be expected to hire and develop a small team of technical experts. You will work as a part of the Portfolio Marketing team.

Primary Responsibilities:
  • Build, grow, and maintain subject matter expert technical marketing competency across the Splunk solution portfolio.
  • Create high quality external facing technical content such as whitepapers, how-to videos, presentations, blogs, best practice guides, and reference architectures concerning customer use cases and Splunk offerings.
  • You will work with Product Marketing, Technical Enablement, and Technical Sales teams to package content for internal and external consumption.
  • Define demo topics and build customer outcome-centric demo scripts for the Tech Sales team to clearly communicate the Splunk value proposition.
  • Develop and deliver technical presentations, product demonstrations to internal and external audiences e.g., Technical Sales, Industry Analysts and to practitioner customer audiences.

Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
  • 10+ years of technical/product marketing, product management, or technical sales experience. 5+ years experience leading technical teams.

  • Proven track record of marketing to a highly technical audience within large organizations. You must be comfortable working with and marketing to technical buyers and stakeholders within enterprises.
