As part of the RCM role, you will also conduct and coordinate the resident assessments (MDS) in accordance with current rules, regulations, and guidelines, including the implementation of CAAs (Care Area Assessments)
While completing the in-training program, you will receive excellent, hands-on training to learn Marquis nursing systems and procedures. Our organization uses an electronic medical records (EMR) system, and you will receive extensive training on the EMR.

What Does our Training Program Look Like?
* Takes place at one or more of our Post-Acute Rehab facilities in the Portland Metro Area
* Includes training on a variety of shifts to expose you to different aspects of social services operations
* You will:
* Learn how to manage complex psychosocial needs and discharge planning
* Collaborate with inter-disciplinary care teams and external providers
* Complete resident assessments (MDS), person-centered care plans, and insurance coordination
* Gain experience with our Electronic Medical Records (EMR) system
* Program length varies depending on individual learning progress, typically 3-6 months
* Upon completion, you will be eligible to apply for open Social Services roles within Marquis Companies

* Associate or bachelor's degree in one or more of the following areas is required
* Behavioral Sciences (Human Development, Psychology, Sociology, Counseling), Healthcare Administration and/or Health Sciences

Simply put, as the Staffing Assistant, you will assist the ALF and PAR Staffing Directors in creating schedules that properly facilitates care for the residents every day. Other duties may include (but are not limited to): creating/maintaining the schedule for the facility, ensuring the appropriate number of staff are working for each shift per day, maintaining the employee database/directory, communicating compliance changes in policies to personnel, and assisting the Staffing Director as needed.This role also includes rotating on-call responsibilities via phone every other weekend.
