Ronda serves as President and Chief Executive Officer of Afaxys Inc., bringing more than 20 years of healthcare industry experience and a decade of executive-level work in public health to her role. She is committed to leading the Afaxys team to deliver a reliable supply of low-cost, high-quality contraceptive products to public health providers and the women they serve. Prior to working at Afaxys, Ronda served as Vice President and General Manager of Women's Healthcare at Parke-Davis Pharmaceuticals, a subsidiary of the pharmaceutical company Pfizer, where she led a business unit through a period of dramatic growth and expansion. She subsequently joined Planned Parenthood Federation of America where she was tasked with securing its affiliates affordable access to women's health products and services. It was these combined experiences that led her to help found Afaxys, helping to ensure that women have the contraceptive products they want and need. Ronda launched her career as a clinical microbiologist. She holds an M.B.A. from Duke University and a B.S. from Ohio State University. She is the founder of the Dalton Demorest Foundation, which supports healthcare and educational needs of underserved women and children, and has served on numerous boards including Johns Hopkins Medical Institutions and the Storm Eye Institute at the Medical University of South Carolina.
