We are looking for a sharp, forward thinking Lead Counsel, Payments and Regulatory to expand our portfolio of financial products. What you will do

What you will need

Mental Health & Disabilities Specialist - Center for Families Childcare (Temporary) SALARY: $36.93/hour for 15 hour per week schedule, some evenings may be required DESCRIPTION: The purpose of the Mental Health & Disabilities Specialist is to support a program-wide culture that promotes children's mental health, social and emotional well-being, and overall health. The Mental Health & Disabilities Specialist consults with Teachers, Administrators, and parents in their work with children, supports Teachers in establishing and strengthening healthy parent-child relationships, and assists in the IEP/IFSP referral process for child mental health and disability services.
This is an exempt temporary/part-time position that reports to the Director for the Center for Families.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
* Identify economic, cultural, physical, and environmental factors which support or limit a child's functioning

* Evaluate developmental and behavioral screenings and make referrals where needed

* Complete documentation, data entry, and reports in an accurate and timely manner
* Monitor in-kind documentation for children who are receiving special needs services with outside agencies
* Utilize rack data from completed of Ages & Stages Questionnaire (behavioral & developmental) on all enrolled children
* Track and review Individual Education Plans (IEP) and Individual Family Service Plans (IFSP) for children and ensure that staff are developing activities and goals around these plans
* Develop community resources around Mental Health Agencies in community meet with staff when approved to discuss Mental Health or Disability issues
* Perform other duties as assigned or delegated by the Director for the Center for Families.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
* Bachelor s degree in mental health for children, special education OR related field.
* Two years of work experience in mental health or special education early childhood setting

PHYSICAL WORK ENVIRONMENT:
Work is typically performed in an office setting. Inventory management requires some lifting and moving of objects up to 30lbs. Excellent communication skills are essential. COMPENSATION:

The Edward Thomas House Medical Respite is a unique medical respite harm reduction program that provides shelter care with embedded nursing, mental health, and case management services to an at-risk homeless population. The Edward Thomas House admits patients referred from all King County area hospitals 7 days a week and operates 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. The program is operated by Harborview Medical Center (HMC) at an off-site location next to the Harborview emergency department.
PRIMARY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
* Contribute to and document initial and ongoing bio-psychosocial patient evaluations and assessments
* Develop patient care plan with interdisciplinary team
* Facilitate therapeutic sessions and patient/family conferences
* Deescalate potentially dangerous situations and promote stability on unit
* Recognize and communicate observations related to effects and side effects of medications and signs of substance intoxication or withdrawal to RNs
* Communicate with providers, authorities, and others for patients' continued care, may include referral to Emergency Room

* Bachelor's Degree; AND one year as a Mental Health Specialist I, or equivalent; experience may substitute for education on a year-for-year basis.

Wellfound Behavioral Health Hospital is a 120-bed inpatient psychiatric hospital located in Tacoma, Washington. We are Department of Health and Joint Commission accredited. * You will learn to serve a caseload of 50-110 DVR customers.

LMFTs support behavioral health care provided by primary care providers, in consultation with a psychiatric specialist and/or other clinical staff as appropriate.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
* Support and closely coordinate mental health care with the patient's primary care provider and other treating mental health providers
* Screen, assess, and provide education to patients for mental health diagnoses and substance use disorders available treatment options
* Monitor patients (in person or by telephone) for changes in clinical symptoms and treatment side effects or complications
* Support psychotropic medication management prescribed by provider, focusing on treatment adherence, attention to side effects, and effectiveness of treatment
* Provide brief counseling or psychotherapy using evidence-based techniques such as behavioral activation, motivational interviewing, or other relevant clinical techniques
* Provide or facilitate in-clinic or outside referrals
* Facilitate treatment plan changes for patients who are not improving as expected in consultation with the primary care providers and psychiatric specialist. These may include changes in medications or psychosocial treatments or appropriate referrals for additional services
* Familiarity with DSM-5 assessment and diagnoses
* Intervene as an advocate for patients to resolve emergency problems in crisis situations
* In school-based health center, deliver classroom guidance lessons on topics, such as bullying, suicide prevention and substance use disorder
* In school-based health center, collaborates with teachers, administrators, and parents to help students address behavioral health needs
* In school-based health center, identify and report possible cases of neglect or abuse
* Familiar with using electronic health record (ex. Athena)
* Monitor, and where applicable, oversee relevant provider and care staff to ensure delivery of care
* Other duties as assigned
