2. Handle all First Contact calls and assess telephonically to determine appropriateness for treatment, level of care, and special needs.
3. Schedule and conduct assessment interviews with potential clients and their significant others.
4. Formulate initial diagnostic impression and appropriate recommendations for level of care placement.
5. Provide case management and counseling services to assigned clients.
6. Utilize intervention skills as required to place the client in the appropriate level of treatment services.

ROLE OVERVIEW
We are seeking a proven and highly motivated sales professional to serve as a Clinician Liaison with our care partners. Representing LifeStance clinicians, the Clinician Liaison will drive referral volume from primary and specialty care physicians, referral coordinators, hospital discharge planners, and other patient referral sources in the assigned market(s) through meaningful interaction that centers around shared patients. The position will report directly to the National Business Development Director and work together with LifeStance's clinical and operations team members to hardwire referral relationships with our multidisciplinary team of clinicians. Key Responsibilities

With supervision, provides assessments; individual, marital, and family therapy; and education services to a diverse clientele.
A Typical Day as a Behavioral Health Therapist:
Conduct family-centered, inclusive, trauma-responsive, and strengths-based assessments of the behavioral health needs of individual youth and adults, couples, and families;
Partner with clients and identify collaterals to develop treatment goals to address their presenting issues and needs;
Build on client strengths and provide goal-directed mental health therapy and counseling services to clients

Collaborate with community partners to conduct evaluations in person and via telehealth for incarcerated patients.
Complete engagement activities and partner with Supervisor to ensure patients exiting incarceration are assigned a regular Counselor upon release.
Lead group counseling sessions for patients; providing education, support, and guidance in a supportive group setting.
