GENERAL SUMMARY:
Under direction, provides crisis intervention and de-escalation services in the home and community. Completes hospital face-to-face screenings to determine if child needs inpatient care. Implements program goals and activities in keeping with program philosophy.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Required Education and Experience:

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Provide clinical assessment, diagnosis and treatment planning for children, adolescents
Maintain necessary correspondence and communication with other agency and service providers
Shall carry a caseload of a minimum of 12 cases for part time and 24 cases for full time.
Prepare assigned clients for discharge or transition through planning and linkage with services as indicated
Conduct oneself in an ethical, mature and professional manner and treat clients, referral sources and coworkers with dignity and respect
Complete documentation within agency guidelines and timeframes
Attend regular supervisory sessions, in service trainings, all required staff meetings and psychiatric consultation as required
POSITION CLASSIFICATION, TYPE & EXPECTED HOURS OF WORK:
Part time or a full-time position. Hybrid/office schedule offered. The core CCSEM business days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 8 p.m. This position requires two evenings per week to accommodate client scheduling requests

Job DescriptionMacomb Family Services, Inc. is seeking the best and brightest individuals to work as Clinical Therapist at our outpatient facilities located in Macomb County Michigan. We have locations in Clinton Township and Romeo. Macomb Family Services, Inc. is a well established agency which provides therapeutic counseling to clients of Macomb County and surrounding areas. Macomb Family Services Inc. provides counseling to Commercial Payers, Medicaid HMO's, and has contracts with MCOSA and CMH.
All applicants must be licensed, LLMSW, LMSW, LLPC, LPC, LLP. Preference to CAADC or Development Plan.
The Clinical Therapist is accountable for but not limited to, the following responsibilities in their day to day routine:
Forming accurate assessments of the client's needs, then developing appropriate clinical goals.
Therapists may schedule week-end appointments when it meets their needs.
Providing all proper documentation for all clinical services including assessments, treatment planning, progress note etc.
Preparing and submitting case reports and summaries to appropriate parties accurately and in a timely manner.
Experience:
Candidates should have experience working in an outpatient setting and be able to document experience working with any of the following areas:
Individual and family mental health
Substance abuse issues
Children and Adolescents
Requirements
Masters Degree in Social Work, Psychology, or Counseling required
License to practice as a psychotherapist / social worker in the State of Michigan

As a Clinical Therapist, you must be limited license or fully licensed (LLPC, LLMSW, LPC, LMSW, LLP). The position will be working in an out-patient setting (remote/face to face) with commercial/Medicaid insurances. Position is hourly, 10+ client sessions per week with flexible days and hours. Office space in Romeo, Clinton Twp. And Richmond. Higher fee split if own caseload/referral sources. Advertising, billing, credentialing, fee collection and reminder calls included.
