Primary Purpose:

Major Responsibilities and Duties:
Instructional and Program Management
Support implementation of the Behavior Management Level System in Structured/Discovery Center classrooms, especially for new staff. Includes modeling and feedback to teachers and paraprofessionals.
Provide coaching and modeling of appropriate instructional strategies and implementation of specially designed instruction
Assist in conducting Functional Behavioral Reviews (FBR) based on observation of students in school, home, and community environments.
Work with school staff and parents in teaching socially acceptable behaviors to students based on individual needs.
Assist in developing, implementing and supporting Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs) for students with disabilities in both general and special education settings.
Monitor and collect data on the effectiveness of behavior intervention. Recommend changes as needed.
Work collaboratively with campus based teams to implement behavior intervention strategies. Manage student behavior including intervening in crisis situations and physically restraining students as necessary according to IEP.
Participate in admission, review, and dismissal (ARD) committee meetings. Work collaboratively with parents, teachers, and other staff members on implementation of individual educational plan (IEP) goals.
Assist teachers with lesson planning, lesson modeling, classroom management, and behavior management.
Keep informed of and comply with federal, state, district, and school regulations and policies for special education.
Training and Staff Development
Identify professional development needs, develop and present training, and coach campus personnel to continually develop and enhance behavioral and instructional practices.
Provide behavior management training for parents as needed.
Pursue continuous improvement and growth in knowledge of behavior intervention strategies, methodologies, and analysis.
Other
Consult with district and outside resources regarding education, social, medical, and personal needs of students.
Take all necessary and reasonable precautions to protect students, equipment, materials, and facilities.
Follow district safety protocols and emergency procedures.
Maintain an appropriate level of technology competence to meet the current and future needs of Alief.
Implement alternative methods of instruction as needed.
Perform other duties as assigned.

As a Licensed Clinical Therapist, you will provide face-to-face and/or telehealth psychosocial assessments, mental health evaluations, and therapeutic counseling for vulnerable individuals and families referred by DFPS through its Child Protective Services (CPS) and Adult Protective Services (APS) programs. Qualifications:

As a Licensed Clinical Therapist, you will provide face-to-face and/or telehealth psychosocial assessments, mental health evaluations, and therapeutic counseling for vulnerable individuals and families referred by DFPS through its Child Protective Services (CPS) and Adult Protective Services (APS) programs. Position Summary: This position is responsible for providing direct services to clients who have a substance use disorder diagnosis, a co-occurring disorder, or other mental health diagnosis. Services include individual and group counseling, family counseling, couple counseling and psychoeducational groups, sober community building activities.
Essential Responsibilities
Provide Individual therapy to clients participating in the Passages Intensive Outpatient Program.
Facilitate or co-facilitate various group for adults
Provide family and couples counseling as needed
Facilitate/supervise client study of recovery-oriented materials and offer support/guidance
Conduct full clinical assessments on each client
Develop treatment and discharge plans with clients
Provide crisis counseling, suicide assessments and support as needed to clients
Document and file all notes in timely manner that meets all compliance regulations.
Act as advocate and liaison w/other service providers and staff members when appropriate
Provide services aimed at relapse prevention
Provide psycho-educational groups/ programs
Participate in treatment and discharge planning for clients
Participate in IOP Team meetings
Participate in Full Treatment Team meetings
Participate in case staffings
Participate in sober social events with agency
Other Responsibilities
Participate in clinical staff meetings, WholeLife collaborative team meetings, and supervision
Participate in all-staff and other meetings designated by The Women's Home
Assist in marketing of Intensive Outpatient Program Services.
Assist in the recruitment and selection of on-site counseling and supportive services that will complement existing services and fill a community need.
Attend and assist with planning, organizing, and facilitating events and activities at the both campuses.

Qualifications
Master's Degree in Social Work, Psychology, Counseling or other related field
LPC-A or LMSW
1-3 years of experience working in the field of mental health
LCDC preferred
Practice from a client centered, trauma informed perspective
Chemical Dependency treatment experience preferred
Knowledge and experience with various chemical dependency models (i.e. 12 step, CBT, Motivational Interviewing)
Working with co-occurring experience strongly preferred
Basic knowledge of how to access community resources
Ability to work as a member of a multi-disciplinary team
Experience working with community collaborations preferred
Valid Texas Driver's License
