The Family Intervention Specialist (FIS) provides intensive in-home services, using the evidence-based program, Family Centered Treatment, to help families prevent out of home placement through medical, legal and social systems. Demonstrates developmentally appropriate competence with the FCT model and service delivery for infants through adult clients and their families. This position serves individuals and families who are involved in the mental health system of care and requires an elevated level of knowledge and proven competencies to provide services to these high acuity cases. Training for each phase of training must be completed prior to providing services required in each phase. Receive additional training and support for continued education regarding high acuity cases.
