Student Health Services is accepting student applications for a Healthcare Assistant Student Worker. This student worker position is a one-semester, part-time position, available for the Spring 2026 semester. All student workers are employed on a one-semester basis with the option to be extended to future semesters if the need exists and work performance is satisfactory. Compensation: Rate of Pay: $9.25 per hour Hours Per Week: Not to exceed 29 hours per week Responsibilities Administrative Responsibilities: * Appointment scheduling, taking messages accurately, and direct calls appropriately. * Sending faxes, scanning documents, making copies, and typing letters as requested. * Assist with retrieving and distributing mail and inventory supplies. * Greet students and visitors to Health Services and assist with check-in and intake paperwork as needed. Clinical Procedural Tasks: * May assist with preparing exam rooms for incoming patients. * Restocking supplies in rooms. * Monitor and record daily refrigerator temperatures and alert nursing staff if the temperature is out of range. * Monitor the electronic health record for patient communication. * Escort students to exam rooms and check-out. * Cleaning sterile equipment and instruments.
