The Primary Therapist provides and oversees individual treatment services as required by the company for each client assigned to the therapist. What You'll Do
Clinical:
* Travel to provide a range of moderately complex clinical services with children, adolescents, and adults. This will include diagnostic assessment, treatment planning, and individual, family and group therapy according to program specifics. Services may be provided in-home, or community based services.
* Administer, score, and interpret moderate level psychometric assessment instruments.
* Participate in the development of a Program's documented treatment/service plans and provide identified behavioral services to meet the need of the clientele and/or program specifics.
* Provide short-term crisis intervention as needed/identified. Will follow intensive, evidence based service models based on Family Wellness and other Trauma Informed approaches. * Develop/Maintain consultative and liaison relationships with catchments area caregivers (e.g., families, schools, human services agencies, & external case managers etc.) in order to cultivate work relations, provide consultative services and/or promote the coordination and development of mental health services. Establish mutually respectful rapport and implement interventions necessary to meet needs of client/collaterals; appropriately set limits and maintain helping role as a Mental Health practitioner.

* Maintain contact with referral agency personnel using discharge reports, Diagnostic Assessment forms, telephone calls, and incident reports in addition to regularly scheduled and required written reports.
* Review all client files pertaining to assigned caseload as part of the quality improvement process.
* Be in compliance with monthly and quarterly requirements as defined annually by SAFY QI/CQI standards. Meet state required utilization standards for Mental Health services.
* Inform clients of company policies, procedures, rights and responsibilities. Enforce policies by writing corrective action plans, incident reports, and/ or conducting rules investigations.

* Establish and maintain a positive working relationship with all levels of SAFY staff by participating in joint meetings, and problem identification and resolution.

**What Will You Do?**
+ In the handling of a caseload of predominantly low to moderate complexity, your responsibilities will include:
+ Develop and apply effective use of litigation skills and techniques to try cases to verdict or negotiate resolution.
+ Conduct legal research and demonstrate strong and persuasive legal writing and presentation skills.
+ Draft pleadings, motions, briefs, discovery and other documents.
+ Attend court events, depositions, and other appointments independently.
+ Provide case analysis and recommendations to insured clients and claim partners on file handling strategies.
+ Build and maintain strong internal and external client and business partner relationships.
+ Provide advice and training to Claim partners and clients.
+ Fully and effectively utilize available technology, case management system and automation.
+ Travel as required to meet business needs.

**What Will Our Ideal Candidate Have?**
+ 3+ years of insurance defense litigation experience as a practicing attorney.
+ Experience independently handling cases from inception through trial/hearing & appeal.
+ Strong communication skills, with the ability to present information on litigated matters to diverse audiences

+ Demonstrates persuasive legal writing skills and oral advocacy skills.

**What is a Must Have?**
+ Juris Doctorate or equivalent International legal degree; graduate of an accredited law school.
+ 2 years experience as a practicing attorney.
+ Active license in good standing to practice law in the state(s) in which representation is required.
+ Regularly handles hearings, trials, dispositive motion arguments, depositions, or other court proceedings and has the ability to transport to those meetings. Valid driver's license required depending on the location.

Clinician Responsibilities
* Provides diagnosis, treatment, therapy, and management of patients according to current standards of care utilizing best practices recommendation

MSW or similar Masters degree required
