Operating in over 70 treatment centers in multiple states, our team members are engaged in medication-assisted treatment, counseling, support, and care management of individuals living with OUD. We treat the whole person and, in so doing, address the underlying causes of OUD in an effort to provide a continuum of care that not only addresses treatment needs but supports the patient on their journey to recovery.
Job Summary:
New Season operates a number of nationally recognized and accredited methadone treatment centers dedicated to helping individuals with prescription drug abuse and/or opiate addiction regain control of their lives.

Essential Functions:
Works with patients to complete all intakes, admissions, discharges, and transfer paperwork.
Documents patient progress through counseling and interaction through groups.
Completes patient psychosocial and an individualized treatment plan within the required time frame.
Identifies any clinical/case management needs and works to address those needs.
Performs individual, group, and family counseling as required.
Performs direct one-on-one patient couneling weekly through individual or group counseling.
Reports patient abuse, neglect and exploitation as required.
Reports patient grievances as required.
Educates patient in all aspects of treatment, corresponding health issues and steps to recovery.
Obtains Urine Drug Screens and initial patient photo identification.
Assists in monitoring all patient activities on center premises.
Actively participates in community relations activities as directed and authorized.
Ensures the reading and understanding of the Policy and Procedures Manual.
Ensures compliance with 42 CFR Part 2 (Federal Confidentiality Regulations) and 45 CFR, Parts 160 & 164 (HIPAA)
Is responsible for obtaining or maintaining proper licensure and/or certification according to specific state requirements.
Actively participates in preparation for surveys and inspections conducted by CARF, the State, DEA, Board of Pharmacy and any other agency site visits as dictated by the state laws or regulations.
Participates in all staff meetings
Ensures compliance with local, State, Federal and Colonial Management Group, LP rules, regulations and policies.
Always acts in the best interests of the program and company; honors, supports, and protects the proprietary data and rights of the company.
Performs other tasks as assigned by clinic, region or corporate leadership.
Minimum Qualifications:
Education/Licensure/Certification:
Experience in substance abuse field is not required, but preferred
Qualified candidates will hold one of the following licenses; LPC, LMFT, LCSW, LMHC
Experience Required:
Minimum of 500 hours of experience in substance abuse is preferred

A large focus of the day will consist of providing weekly therapy to families in their homes and/or virtually, focusing on the parent child relationship and substance use. This position belongs to a team of 4 therapists and 2 social workers and a clinical supervisor, all of whom will undergo intensive training in the Yale Family Based Recovery Model, weekly consultation, and ongoing clinical support. There is an on-call component to this position on a rotating basis. This work will require ongoing completion of diagnostic assessments, treatment plans and therapy for a small group of families participating in this new approach. This position will maintain compliance with agency, county and DHS requirements.

Summary:
Be a part of an innovative model that aims to transform the child welfare system, step by step, by bringing substance use treatment into the home, therefore also keeping the child in the home while parents work on their recovery, as opposed to removing a child from the family. A large focus of the day will consist of providing weekly therapy to families in their homes and/or virtually, focusing on the parent child relationship and substance use. This position belongs to a team of 4 therapists and 2 social workers and a clinical supervisor, all of whom will undergo intensive training in the Yale Family Based Recovery Model, weekly consultation, and ongoing clinical support. There is an on-call component to this position on a rotating basis. This work will require ongoing completion of diagnostic assessments, treatment plans and therapy for a small group of families participating in this new approach. This position will maintain compliance with agency, county and DHS requirements.
Therapy Services 60%
Complete diagnostic assessments, treatment plans and ongoing therapy for families involved in child protection
Maintain client caseload that adheres to the model's requirements each month.
Encourage client retention and regular communication, coordinate services with other health care providers to ensure that each client receives culturally aligned and therapeutically appropriate support.
Commit to ongoing professional development opportunities that enhance and strengthen therapeutic practice resulting in client progress and satisfaction with support.
Train in the Yale Family Based Recovery Model and implement it with 100% fidelity
Participate in weekly consultation with the FBR trainer and in team consultations
Assist in the UA collection process of clients
Collaborate with Hennepin County Child Protective Services to facilitate family wellness
Rotate on-call weekend coverage with the two teams of therapists and Clinical Supervisor
Other related duties may be assigned.
Compliance & Documentation 20%
Cultivate community relationships through active communication and follow up with all referents providing clients to RWC.
Provide adequate documentation of services, such as updated diagnostic assessments as needed, complete progress notes and summaries of any group therapy services
Document contact with families or other providers as needed and/or requested
Correct any progress or case notes rerouted by supervisor within 24 hours of request for improvement
Ensure compliance with DHS regulations and company expectations for ethical and culturally responsive therapy.
Advocate for cultural preservation and needs of clients as identified and requested.
Supervision & Training 20%
Attend individual and group supervision to support and build clinical skills and gain knowledge and ideas addressing client needs and experiences.
Participate in clinical consults and receive supportive supervision as needed.
Qualifications/Experience:
Master's degree and LGSW, LPC, MA, LAMFT, LICSW (Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker), LMFT (Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist), Licensed Psychologist (LP) or LPCC (Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor) .

In-service training and education as to deliver services.
Attend 24 hours of training in the Yale Family Based Recovery Program, weekly consultation and weekly supervision
Licensure must be active and in good standing with the respective Licensing Board. Must adhere to licensure ethics and regulations. In-service training/education is to maintain licensure.
Experience and knowledge of the most current Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders (DSM) categories representing the range of mental health disorders.
Working knowledge and experience in providing therapeutic interventions and therapy approaches considered as the best practice of treating the presenting concern, including trauma-informed therapies.
A valid driver's license and a Motor Vehicle Check is required to support timely transportation to and from in-home services.
Able to assess and treat the mental health and substance use of the clients.
Must have the following skills: organizational, decision making, critical thinking, analytical, coaching, leadership, conflict resolution, interpersonal effectiveness, accountability, and the ability to demonstrate professional boundaries.

Our Acute Behavioral Services (ABS) group homes support individuals with complex mental health and behavioral needs. Many of the people we serve have experienced frequent crises, hospital stays, or legal involvement. They may have a history of failed placements and need a highly structured environment to succeed.
Our homes are specially designed for safety, and our approach is consistent, person-centered, and focused on helping individuals reach their goals while maintaining safety for everyone. Due to the challenging nature of this work, staff receive training in behavioral support and crisis response, including the use of manual restraints when necessary.
