Your Job as a Substance Use Counselor:
The Substance Use Counselor is instrumental in our patient's treatment and recovery from opioid use disorder. Substance Use Counselors provide high quality, compassionate care through various mediums which include both individual and group counseling sessions.
Job Responsibilities:
Provide high quality, compassionate guidance in both individual and group counseling sessions.
Plan, oversee, facilitate and document patient's recovery.
Co-facilitate assigned group or family sessions as needed.
Ensure all documentation regarding patient care, treatment, and incidents is completed timely and in a clear, concise manner.
Prepare individual treatment plans for each assigned patient.
Initial assessments as well as follow up assessments.
Evaluate patient needs and determine if referrals to other programs or facilities are needed.
May plan for aftercare for assigned patients.
Provide crisis intervention to patients, as needed.
Provide case management duties for patients, ensuring individualized quality care as needed.
Act as a liaison between referral sources and patients, as needed.

Qualifications
Required Education, Skills and Qualifications:
Minimum of an Associate's Degree in social or health services field required;
Prefer Bachelor's or Master's degree in social or health services field;
Degree must be from an accredited college or university.
Previous experience in addiction recovery or behavioral health settings, such as outpatient, residential, or correctional facilities.
Familiarity with Medication-Assisted Treatment (MAT), including methadone, buprenorphine, and naltrexone.
Experience conducting individual and group counseling sessions focused on substance use recovery.
Knowledge of evidence-based practices, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Motivational Interviewing (MI), and relapse prevention techniques.
Documentation experience, including maintaining clinical notes, treatment plans, and progress updates in accordance with state and federal guidelines.
Familiarity with state regulatory standards (e.g., 42 CFR Part 2, HIPAA, Joint Commission standards).
Experience collaborating in a multidisciplinary team with medical staff, case managers, and peer support specialists.
Licenses/Certifications:
SACIT or eligible is required

This position identifies the nature and cause of client's problem(s) and incapacities as they relate to chemical abuse, social functioning, vocational functioning, legal functioning, and leisure time functioning. This position formulates service delivery plans, implements case plans upon approval of the supervisor, provides treatment and guidance in line with accepted modules, and develops and refers clients to appropriate community resources.
A Social Worker credential and a substance abuse credential from the Wisconsin DSPS is required to be considered.
Salary Information
Social Worker is in pay schedule and range 12-64 and Social Worker - Senior is in pay schedule and range 12-63.
Starting pay will be set based on full years of non-training Social Work Credentialing in Wisconsin.

This position may receive a $1.00 to $2.00 per hour add-on pay based on the type of SAC credential possessed at the time of hire.
Pay will be set in accordance with the Compensation Plan and Wisconsin Administrative Code in effect at the time of hire. A probationary period is required.
Candidates with no prior permanent employment with the State of Wisconsin in the past 5 years may be eligible to accept a sign-on bonus of $3,000. The sign-on bonus will be paid in two installments: $1500 on the first paycheck and $1500 with the paycheck for the pay period in which the employee attains permanent status (usually 1 year). (UW System employment isn't disqualifying.)
To receive the bonus, a candidate must sign an agreement indicating they will remain in that occupational area for a year. If the candidate leaves their occupational area prior to completing the one year, they may be required to reimburse the initial payment.

Job Details
These positions will normally be on site, but certain sites may have occasional remote work available. You can ask about a specific location if you are offered an interview.

The program therapist will be responsible for the treatment, counseling, group therapy, and case management for a caseload of program clients. Essential Job Duties
* Assesses services for members to ensure optimum outcomes, cost-effectiveness and compliance with all state/federal regulations and guidelines.
* Analyzes clinical service requests from members or providers against evidence based clinical guidelines.
* Identifies appropriate benefits, eligibility and expected length of stay for requested treatments and/or procedures.
* Conducts reviews to determine prior authorization/financial responsibility for Molina and its members.
* Processes requests within required timelines.
* Refers appropriate cases to medical directors (MDs) and presents them in a consistent and efficient manner.
* Requests additional information from members or providers as needed.
* Makes appropriate referrals to other clinical programs.
* Collaborates with multidisciplinary teams to promote the Molina care model.
* Adheres to utilization management (UM) policies and procedures.
Required Qualifications
* At least 2 years experience, including experience in hospital acute care, inpatient review, prior authorization, managed care, or equivalent combination of relevant education and experience.
* Registered Nurse (RN). License must be active and unrestricted in state of practice.
* Ability to prioritize and manage multiple deadlines.
* Excellent organizational, problem-solving and critical-thinking skills.
* Strong written and verbal communication skills.
* Microsoft Office suite/applicable software program(s) proficiency.
Preferred Qualifications
* Certified Professional in Healthcare Management (CPHM).
* Recent hospital experience in an intensive care unit (ICU) or emergency room.

Position Overview:
The Behavioral Support Assistant will provide security and supervision of clients, monitor their whereabouts and behavior, maintain paperwork (daily logs, progress notes, event reports), conduct facility checks, and assign client activities (chores, tasks, urinalysis/breathalyzer testing). The Behavioral Support Assistant will supervise diverse clients in duties such as meal preparation and household chores to help provide the necessary skills to maintain responsibility, take initiative, and accountability.
What You'll Do:
· Provide a safe environment for clients.
· Supervise the client's whereabouts and behavior.
· Maintain required paperwork - daily logs, progress notes, and incident reporting.
· Conduct facility checks.

- Complete the Community Based Residential Facility classes needed for this position.

Qualifications
Education & Work Experience:

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
Excellent interpersonal skills and demonstrated ability to work well with individuals of diverse backgrounds.
Ability to interact with staff, clients, and agents in an effective manner while maintaining professional boundaries.
Ability to maintain the utmost confidentiality of all agency information.
Strong decision making abilities and able to work independently.
Knowledge of nutrition and sanitation.
Experience in record-keeping
