The Behavioral Health Case Manager II is responsible for performing case management telephonically and/or by home visits within the scope of licensure for members with behavioral health and substance abuse or substance abuse disorder needs. Subject matter expert in targeted clinical areas of expertise such as Eating Disorders (ED) Maternity Alcohol / Drug Autism Spectrum Disorders (ASD) etc.

Minimum Requirements:
* Requires MA/MS in social work counseling or a related behavioral health field or a degree in nursing, and minimum of 3 years of clinical experience in social work counseling with broad range of experience with complex psychiatric and substance abuse or substance abuse disorder treatment; or any combination of education and experience which would provide an equivalent background.
* Current active unrestricted license such as RN LCSW LMHC LICSW LPC (as allowed by applicable state laws) LMFT LMSW (as allowed by applicable state laws) or Clinical Psychologist to practice as a health professional within the scope of licensure in applicable states or territory of the United States required.
* Previous experience in case management and telephonic and/or in person coaching with members with a broad range of complex psychiatric/substance abuse and/or medical disorders.
* Managed care experience required.
* For Government business only LAPC LAMFT (as allowed by applicable state laws) is also acceptable in addition to other licensure referenced above; and any other state or federal requirements that may apply.
Preferred skills, capabilities, and experiences:
* Experience in health coaching and motivational interviewing techniques preferred.

This role implements strategies that support CHR's mission, follow State and regional agencies' policies and procedures, and comply with home and Community-Based Waiver Services regulations, in alignment with Person-Centered values and principles of self-determination.
The Case Manager/QIDP staff create progressive learning and habilitation programs based on an individual's assessed needs. This role (to be filled by more than one person) adds necessary capacity to ensure quality case management on behalf of the individuals CHR serves and support's the company's recruitment, retention, and training to support levels of staffing and staff readiness as required by relevant State and regional agencies and successful implementation of learning and habilitation programming.

Work Environment
This is a full-time, in person position at the CHR office at 885 Tyler Way in Sparks, NV. Reliable transportation is required. Office hours are from 9am to 5pm PST.
In the case of employee training or providing emergency coverage in the homes, this work is primarily conducted within home-based workplaces where the individuals live and some travel as outlined below.
Travel
As it pertains to home visits for new staff training and case management, the team member in this position would expect to spend no more than 35% of their work out in the field (65% spent in the office), except for opportunities to support coverage in the homes, should those arise.

POSITION SUMMARY:

Job Description
The Associated Students of the University of Nevada (ASUN) is made up of every undergraduate student at the University of Nevada. ASUN provides a means for students to voice concerns and address issues at the university, local, state, national and international levels.
Responsibilities
The duties of the Director of Government Affairs are as follows:
The Director shall provide non-partisan advice to the President, and frame recommendations for the President to advance student interests.
The Director shall coordinate with the Director of Governmental Relations for the University of Nevada.
The Director may delegate any of the Director's functions to any other officer, employee or organizational unit of the Department. All other officers shall be appointed by the Director.
The Director must attend all Committee on Democratic Civic Engagement meetings or must designate the Assistant Director to attend in their absence.
The Director shall present a new appointment to the Senate within the following two weeks of said committee or Senate meeting if an executive appointment is reported unfavorably by the Senate Committee on Oversight or if an appointee is not passed by the Senate or if the Director is unable to find a qualified candidate within those two weeks, the Director must present to the Committee on Oversight and explain the circumstances.
The Director shall act as President if, because of death, resignation, removal from office, inability, or failure to qualify, there is no President, Vice President, Speaker of the Senate, Director of Clubs and Organizations, Director of Programming, Attorney General or Director of Public and Campus Relations to act as President.
To have a report read or spoken into the record at minimum every other Senate meeting.

* Conducts casework interviews with clients, family members, service providers, and others to obtain information for formulating program/service eligibility and case status.
* Identifies social, economic and physical needs of clients.

Typical Qualifications

Education and Experience:
Master's degree from an accredited college or university with major course work in social services, marriage and family therapy, counseling, psychology or a closely related field and license to practice in the State of Nevada as a Social Worker or Marriage and Family Therapist.
REQUIRED CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, AND REGISTRATIONS:
* Nevada driver's license.
* Must possess a valid license as a Social Worker in the State of Nevada at time of appointment.

SUPERVISION RECEIVED AND EXERCISED:
Under General Supervision - Incumbents at this level are given assignments and objectives that are governed by specifically outlined work methods and a sequence of steps, which are explained in general terms. Immediate supervision is not consistent, but checks are integrated into work processes and/or reviews are frequent enough to ensure compliance with instructions.

CONDITIONS OF EMPLOYMENT:
* This is a grant funded position. Position is contingent upon grant funding continuing to be renewed and approved.
