As the Social-Emotional Counselor, you have unique training to help scholars with social-emotional challenges that impact academic success. III. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
A. Education, Experience, and Training
1. Graduation from an accredited senior high school or equivalent or GED.
2. Three years full-time, wage-earning experience in substance use treatment, education,
human services, psychology, social work, sociology, behavioral science, or criminal justice.
Fifteen semester hours from a college or university accredited by an organization
recognized by the Council for Higher Education accreditation (CHEA) or by the United
States Department of Education (USDE) to include major course work in Substance Use
Treatment, Education, Human Services, Psychology, Social Work Sociology, Behavioral
Science, Criminal Justice or a related field may be substituted for each six months of
experience.
3. Therapeutic community environment experience preferred.
4. Screening and assessment experience preferred.
5. Current valid licensure as a Licensed Chemical Dependency Counselor (LCDC) by the
Texas Department of State Health Services, current valid certification as a Certified Criminal
Justice Professional (CCJP) by the Texas Certification Board of Addiction Professionals,

Implementation of agency prevention education in the schools and community, as well as program services for children of agency clients. Prevention and education objectives intended to reduce domestic violence include education about healthy relationships, stalking and dating violence, sexual assault awareness, and prevention. Provides program leadership and oversight to the children's program.
Implement, manage, and facilitate support groups built around trauma informed care, adult and children.
Actively participate in facility functions with a solution-focused mindset, which is represented through flexibility, collaboration, and a “can do” attitude to ensure organizational success.
Key Responsibility Areas:
Provide individual counseling and advocacy to victims of family violence, sexual assault, and/or incest for both resident and non-resident clients.
Develop Mental Health Assessment Plan, which may include, but is not limited to, safety plans, service goals, measurable outcomes, and time-limited objectives.
Plan and conduct short-term counseling sessions (up to 10 visits) with client/family.
Maintain accurate client records and documents, including timely and complete data entry.

Conduct groups (life skill, domestic violence support, sexual abuse survivors) as needed.

ATG is looking for a dedicated and compassionate behavioral technician to join our team and provide Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) services to children with Autism Spectrum Disorders. Behavior technicians are responsible for assisting behavior analysts to implement behavior reduction and skill acquisition treatment plans. The candidate will assist patients with day to day activities, monitor their behavior, record and collect data on patients' progress, and communicate with clients. Other duties may include clerical and administrative duties.
To be successful in this role, you will display a compassionate nature, empathy and discretion in your work. You should have excellent communication and time management skills, and be able to develop and maintain relationships with clients, supervisors and colleagues. Prior experience in a behavioral health setting is advantageous.
A fully trained RBT therapist can receive, on average, 10-20 hours/week with each session lasting 2 - 4 hours.
Specific responsibilities include:
Provide direct care to clients in a one-on-one or group therapy setting to implement skill acquisition and behavior reduction treatments as directed by the supervisor.
Collect and record data on patient behavior.
Collaborate, communicate and assist with the training of clients, parents and staff.
Provide a safe and supportive environment for patients and family.
Carry out clinical assessments and other administrative duties.
Maintain strict confidentiality.
Attend training to acquire further knowledge.

Requirements
You'll definitely need:
Master's degree in clinical or counseling Psychology, Social Work, or a related subject area
