Oversees and participate in all activities undertaken by Assistant Superintendent and Resort Grounds Manager. Ensure that all aspects of golf course maintenance are operating within all federal, state and local guidelines and regulations. Develop and institute data-driven pesticide, fertilization, cultivation and irrigation programs. Develop and maintain good rapport with guests, members and neighbors to facilitate effective communication about sensitive subjects (constructions, pesticide usage, noise complaints, etc.). Maintain open line of communication with Golf Pro Shop about relevant information. Assist with snow removal as needed. Perfom other duties as assigned. Qualifications Bachelor's Degree in Agronomy is required or a related field from an accredited College or University. Five years of related experience and/or training. Must have working knowledge of the maintenance of golf course tees, fairways, greens and bunkers; seeding and maintenance practices for golf course turf; planting, cultivating, pruning, and caring for plants, shrubs and trees; characteristics and proper use of various fertilizers and soil conditioners; herbicides and pest control methods and materials; drainage control methods; and irrigation systems, including wells, pumps and automatic controls. Ability to schedule and supervise maintenance work to achieve the most efficient utilization of equipment. Ability to prepare clear and concise reports. Maintain effective employee and public relations. Must possess a valid driver's license. Requires North Carolina pesticide applicator license or the ability to obtain one within 90 days. Must be able to stand, walk, bend for extended periods of time. Must be able to lift and/or move up to 25 pounds and lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Spanish a plus.

Requirements Education Prefer a Master's degree in Nursing. BSN will be considered for LPN programming with significant clinical background or prior teaching experience. Licensure Hold an unrestricted license to practice in North Carolina. Experience Prefer experience in secondary instruction.
