A day in the life.
As an Employee Health and Benefits Sr. Client Manager, you will:
Present in depth financial renewal analysis (e.g., renewal underwriting workup, plan value analysis, contribution strategy analysis, self-funded analysis, aggregate reports, etc.)
Participate in sales presentations & astutely represent/discuss the Client Manager role
Participate in industry events (could be carrier functions, BAN events, or other related organizations) basically continue to develop as a professional within the industry
Prepare/present quarterly reports (End of year wrap up, quarterly stewardships, monthly reports)
Prepare/present strategic assessments for prospective and existing clients
Prepare/send RFP's
Renewal analysis (including renewal negotiations, brainstorming for creative solutions, funding strategies, contribution strategies)
Command of available technology platforms for enrollment and plan communication
Lead new or renewal product/vendor implementations
Lead open enrollment meetings
Develop communication materials in conjunction with Creative department
Be able to assist with ACA reporting activities (e.g., vendor solicitation & implementation, calculating fees for PCORI/TRF, etc.)
Be able to assist with benefits admin vendor selection/implementation

WHO YOU ARE:
The Director, Client Delivery Lead is accountable for execution on the client project work prioritized to meet key client targets and outcomes. You will have a keen understanding of the SDLC to delivering projects in both waterfall and agile methodologies, and an ability to quickly assess impact and risk mitigation approaches across client programs. Working with peers, Account Executives, and technology teams in the organization, you will help achieve your clients' target outcomes within the overall Zinnia portfolio of programs. You will lead a team of Program Leads/Project Leads working to support your clients' initiatives and will drive adherence to key standards and practices to increase predictability in our delivery outcomes.
WHAT YOU'LL DO:
Support client discussions and planning activities to outline high level full year portfolio roadmap, driven by prioritized requests and client defined business value
Work with Client Account Manager to prepare and facilitate strategic client planning sessions at least quarterly to prioritize work needed for client to achieve key business outcomes for the upcoming year
Collaborate with peer Delivery Leads, Client Account execs, and internal Technical Lead resources to forecast resource demands and manage prioritization on a recurring and as needed basis by working with internal stakeholders
Monitor and manage Client portfolio status, including delivery progress, project spend, cross projects dependencies, P&L, risks and issues
Work with Program and Project Manager client teams to drive consistent use of defined reporting and dashboards for project tracking and proactive identification of risks to timelines, scope, budget and quality
Act as the first point of escalation for project delivery, working to identify remediation steps with internal stakeholders including impact of remediation to overall Zinnia portfolio, and reporting back to client with mitigation plan
Support periodic (at least monthly) leadership Client discussions, including key Zinnia constituents (Client Account Executive, others as needed) to assess key wins, areas of opportunity with resulting plan of action and readout in subsequent monthly
Drive Client conversations on scope management with proactive data to reflect trends and options to meet targets based on priority of time, cost, scope
Improve team performance by leading, mentoring, training, motivating, and building team cohesiveness, Work with the teams to continually improve project/program controls, methods and tools
Drive contract review and approval process, working with internal legal teams and Client Account Exec team member prior to submission to Client
Support Program and Project Manager client teams review and approve of billable effort/cost weekly, in addition to monthly invoice generation
Participate in monthly finance discussions to review P&L by providing proactive information on potential project risks and mitigation steps actioned
WHAT YOU'LL NEED:
Bachelor's degree in business or a closely related field, Master's Degree preferred, or equivalent work experience.
10 plus years of Project Management Experience - CAPM, PMP or similar designation preferred
15 plus total technology experience
Demonstrated ability to manage a project using a variety of methodologies (Waterfall, Agile, Scrum, Kanban, etc). 4-6 years in an Agile environment preferred
Demonstrated understanding and experience within full software development project lifecycle in complex technical environments.

Summary

About the role

Leading teams of consultants on a wide range of commercial topics including pricing, sales, and/or marketing. Guiding the consulting team as they develop hypotheses, review client information, conduct interviews, generate insights, and produce deliverables

Supporting Partners in project execution through excellent project management, including work planning, workflow management, and coaching, mentoring, and formal career development support for junior team members

Communicating issues and solutions in formal and informal settings, through written and verbal communication

For an EngagementManager, minimum of 5-8+ years of relevant experience, ideally in management consulting (or other similar organizations with project-based, team-oriented environments) with a focus on top-line growth strategy, pricing, go-to-market strategy
For Principals, 8 + years of experience in a relevant role, probably in a top-tier strategy consulting firm or similar organization.
In-depth knowledge of pricing and/or sales and/or marketing topics with familiarity in analytics-driven approaches and commercial effectiveness tools (e.g., pricing systems, sales performance management, and digital go-to-market platforms)
Solid understanding of private equity dynamics and operational frameworks
Demonstrated ability to lead teams and work collaboratively in fast-paced environments
Strong background in strategic problem solving with demonstrable analytical skills
Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with experience presenting to senior leadership
Willingness to travel as required on a project basis
Proven ability to mentor and develop diverse teams, fostering an inclusive and collaborative culture
Undergraduate degree; advanced degree (MBA or similar) preferred

Commercial organization: pricing organization design, talent retention, salesforce incentives and compensation design
Change enablement: building governance, training programs, and performance management processes to ensure sustainable adoption
Some examples of our recent work include:
Re-designing SaaS pricing and packaging for a PE-owned software player and quantifying price ranges for each of the packages sold
Rapid pricing diagnostic for a growth-stage, PE-owned mortgage appraisal software player to identify ~5-10 high criticality, actionable pricing and packaging value creation levers
Upskilling a PE-owned B2B services organization to renegotiate 100+ customer contracts to drive margin impact
Developing a pricing organization and operating model for a legacy manufacturer incl. team size, responsibilities, tools, and governance
Leading a sales turnaround for an industrial gas supplier, including right-sizing the organization, redefining roles of reps, creating new roles and key account structures, and developing a communication program for leadership
Implementing discounting controls for a global travel operator, redesigning commission structures, policies, and systems
Designing incentive plans and scorecards for a leading insurance broker, driving 10% sales growth and 20% margin expansion

NMI seeks a self-motivated and creative individual to join NMI as a Revenue Operations Manager, Business Systems. This role focuses on gathering and documenting requirements, driving successful application implementations and enhancements, project management, analyzing business processes to improve business workflows, and identifying inefficiencies and areas for improvement.
This role will serve as a bridge between business stakeholders and technical systems, ensuring that tools, data, and processes scale with NMI's growth and directly support revenue-generating teams.
Job Summary
In this position, you will gather and document business requirements, manage projects, build reports and dashboards, provide user training, manage application data, test applications and collaborate with Sales, Marketing, and other teams to implement new and improve existing business processes.
You will support the lifecycle of Revenue Operations applications and initiatives - from intake and prioritization through delivery and ongoing optimization - while balancing speed, quality, and long-term scalability
Key Responsibilities:
Gather and Document Business Requirements. Partner with stakeholders to understand objectives
Manage projects for business applications including scope definition, timelines and dependencies
Data Analysis
Provide User Training, develop and drive adoption, consistency, and best practices in conjunction with the Sales Enablement function
Create and Manage Dashboards and Reports that provide actionable insights
Design, Document and improve business processes with a focus on efficiency, scalability, and data integrity
Manage Revenue Operations Applications as a system administrator, ensuring reliability, usability, and alignment with evolving business needs
Troubleshooting Application Errors/Issues
Data Management and Quality including validation, hygiene, and governance standards across systems
Testing and Quality Assurance of Salesforce and related business processes to ensure changes meet requirements
Analyzing Business Processes and Identifying Opportunities for Enhancements that improve productivity and data quality.
Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, and other teams on defining and documenting business processes while acting as a trusted advisor on systems and data
Additional Ad-Hoc responsibilities tied to supporting and remediating business application issues, as needed
Preferred Skills & Experience:
Project Management with the ability to manage multiple initiatives in parallel
Business Analysis with a strong ability to translate ambiguous asks into clear, actionable requirements
Writing Business Requirements and Process Documentation that can be consumed by both technical and non-technical audiences
Knowledge of Sales Process and how systems support revenue generation.
Experience with CPQ including quoting, pricing, approvals, and contract workflows (Salesforce -> Ironclad workflow experience a plus)
Experience with creating and maintaining automations in Salesforce Flow and Process Builder
Excellent communication skills and ability to simplify complex topics
Creative, analytical mind with problem-solving aptitude
Organized and able to work without close supervision in an evolving environment
Attention to detail without losing sight of overall business goals
Salesforce Administration Experience and/or Certification is highly preferred
Experience in using the following additional applications is preferred: Zoominfo, Seismic, Workato, Zapier, Gong and Chili Piper
