Role

A day in the life.
As our Strategic Client Executive on the Rx Solutions team, your day revolves around being the primary point of contact for the MMA field offices regarding pharmacy management, from post-sale implementation to ongoing client support. We have an opening for a Graphic Design Intern in our Washington, DC office. We are looking for a driven and ambitious individual who wants to gain experience in graphic design for the marketing department of an international consulting firm. The Graphic Design Intern will work on promotional materials for social media, events collateral, website graphics, and other marketing materials. In addition to graphic design, this role will provide opportunities to gain experience in other marketing activities, such as marketing technology and event preparation, allowing the intern to develop a well-rounded skill set in the marketing field.
Skills and Attributes

Overview
The Events Coordinator is a key member of NERA's Events Team within the firm's Business Development and Marketing function. This role is responsible for supporting the planning and seamless execution of a broad range of events-including internal meetings, client-facing engagements, and virtual, in-house, and offsite events-to support business development and the promotion of firmwide initiatives by delivering engaging and impactful event experiences, and foster client relationships. The Events Coordinator reports directly to the Senior Specialist of Events and may also receive assignments from the Events Manager, who is the Senior Specialist's supervisor. Key Responsibilities
Event Administration
* Update the events venue guide by researching new restaurants and other venues in key cities. Add new venues, remove outdated data, and ensure contact details are current.
* Maintain the internal events calendar, in coordination with the business development team.
* Track event supply inventory, research ideas for new branded promotional items, provide updates when new supplies are required, and maintain the NERA store.
* Create draft CLE certificates as needed our CLE-specific programming
* Facilitate shipments to and from event sites.

Event Planning and Execution
* Work with events team on all aspects of events, including Zoom webinars, CLE programs, client receptions and dinners, seminars and internal firm events, from the initial planning stages to on-site execution.

* Monitor RSVP progress using our CRM platform, Salesforce.
* Create and assemble name badges and other print collateral as needed for in-person events, in coordination with the design team and copyeditor.

The Senior Business impact manager will play a critical role in supporting these leaders to own and drive key initiatives, execute on practice objectives, facilitate effective communication and smooth day-to-day operations for the Health team.
This position will involve close collaboration and partnership across all levels of the Actuarial Health Practice along with cross-functional teams, and Oliver Wyman's Health and Life Sciences management consultants. Key Responsibilities:
* Manage operational functions: Ensure the smooth operational running of the business for the Health Practice across a range of areas: problem resolution, drafting presentations and communications, managing the action list, staying abreast and ahead of trends. Own key elements of the operational functions for the Actuarial Health team, including coordinating and/or delivering elements of key processes such as budgeting, staffing, recruiting, training & mentorship, business development, etc.
* Drive implementation of key initiatives: Identify and implement improvements in operational processes, enhancing efficiency and effectiveness in day-to-day activities. Deliver strategic decision support analyses to practice leadership, leveraging data, analysis, and problem-solving skills to enable informed decision-making. Collaborate with HR, Finance and IT to streamline internal workflows and support scalable growth.
* Meeting and project management: The effective running of practice operations and leadership meetings including crafting agendas, preparation of presenters, meeting management and meeting outcomes and action items. Ensure timely delivery and strong "upward management" of operational activities such that the Practice Leader and other key stakeholders receive regular progress updates, including proactively flagging delivery risks or delays. Coordinate resources and track project milestones.
* Internal communications: Facilitate communication and collaboration to achieve common goals. Prepare necessary reports and presentations for senior management.
* Build trust with key stakeholders across the business: Build trust and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including the Health Actuarial staff at all levels and others across the OW and Marsh family.
* Support building and monitoring of practice strategy: Support leadership team to develop and implement strategic plans that align with the organization's goals and objectives. Monitor progress and provide insights to ensure successful execution. Increase visibility into business performance and client impact.
* Provide ad hoc support to Practice Leader: Stay very closely aligned to the Health Practice Leader, flexing priorities with agility as leadership needs evolve. Deliver a wide range of ad hoc pieces of work as they arise.
Experience Desired
* 7+ years of relevant full time work experience; prior experience in consulting and/or the insurance industry beneficial but not required.
* 3+ years of experience working with or supporting the C-suite or senior level leadership team
* Experience handling highly confidential, sensitive, and business-critical issues.
