Pros of working at Marshall Physician Services LLC

I like that it gave premeds or anyone interested in the medical professional a chance to work alongside doctors and PA/NPs allowing us to get exposure of healthcare. You are able to really see what these professionals do on a daily basis and if you work well, you can ask for a strong letter of recommendation. You're able to complete the doctors charts which really helps them focus more on the patient. You act as extra ears while the doctor talks to the patient.

Cons of working at Marshall Physician Services LLC

The pay is horrible. No one can really argue or fight for better pay as a lot of us are pre healthcare majors and need the job for the experience. The job itself is competitive and training takes a long time. The trainers you work with are the ones who will decide if you can keep your job after training and the trainers are a hit or a miss. As this is a job in the hospital, you are obligated to work your night shifts as there are a fair distribution of them which can be detrimental if you have daytime commitments such as school.

You cannot beat the experience. You work with a doctor or PA for their whole shift and able to learn how to navigate through an EMR system and learn what orders and lab values are important when diagnosing a patient.
