SUMMARY: The East End Prep Middle School Principal will be responsible for leading grades 5th - 8th grade. The Principal will work closely with the School Director, K-4 Elementary Principal and other school leaders to lead and implement an aligned academic and cultural vision.

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES include, but are not limited to:
Develop a highly talented group of educators to build the foundation for grades 5-8
Lead and manage a team of teachers, instructional experts, and culture team to maximize student achievement and fulfill the mission of East End Prep.
Accelerate and lead a culture of high expectations, accountability, and ownership for students and staff to advance student achievement and close the achievement gap for East End Prep scholars.
Improve and lead the curricular and instructional practices and systems to drive exceptional student achievement for grades 5-8.
Accelerate instructional staff on data-driven instruction, student-ownership of learning and outcomes, and a culture of achievement throughout the school.
Maintain a strong and inspiring literacy culture and related support systems.
Lead student culture systems to drive and cultivate a high standard of excellence for student character and behavior.
Accelerate and lead a culture of student leadership and ownership through structures and systems based on leadership habits and principles.
Lead and engage East End Prep families in what it means to fully support middle school students in an environment of high expectations, investing families in their scholar's attendance and maintaining frequent touchpoints with communication
Design and lead professional development opportunities and events for families to develop their capacity to fully support their scholar's educational experience.
Work in concert with the K-4 principal and school leaders to cultivate an aligned vertical matriculation of academic and school cultural experiences for scholars and families.
Participate as a key member of the executive team in making key strategic decisions to support long term priorities and continuous organizational improvement and excellence.
ROLE PREREQUISITES:
A minimum of 5 years teaching experience preferred with demonstrated track record of high performance
Demonstrated instructional and culture building skills
Excellent communication skills
Demonstrated ability to coach teachers to improve student achievement by modeling, practicing, and providing actionable steps to improving performance
Demonstrated ability to speak and write clearly, succinctly and persuasively such that expectations are clear, timelines are delineated, and excellence is defined

Summary:
A Registered Respiratory Therapist provides advanced respiratory care to patients with complex pulmonary disorders and critical illnesses. They independently assess, treat, and manage patients with a wide range of respiratory conditions, including those in intensive care units and emergency situations. RRTs work collaboratively with physicians and healthcare teams to deliver life-saving therapies and patient-centered care.
Essential Work Functions:
Collaborate with physicians to develop patient treatment plans
Examine and interview patients with breathing and/or cardiopulmonary disorders
Perform diagnostic tests, such as measuring lung capacity or collecting blood/sputum samples
Treat patients through various methods including chest physiotherapy and aerosol medications
Set up and monitor equipment to ensure the patient is receiving the correct amount of oxygen at the correct rate
Observe and record patient status and progress
Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to ensure appropriate patient care
Educate patients and/or family members on how to properly take medication and use equipment
Perform other duties as assigned within the scope of RRT practice

Performs routine walk-around inspection on bus before accepting passengers; reports any defects to Director of Operations.
Safely operates a passenger bus on an assigned route, adhering promptly to time schedule. Maintains order/discipline on the bus at all times.
Prepares and records basic reports on discipline issues, trip deviation, mechanical malfunction of buses and equipment, accidents, and incidents.
The driver provides directions and information about the bus schedules.
Monitors bus entry for passenger safety. Update route as necessary for a safe and efficient ride.

Qualifications:
Graduation from high school (GED acceptable) and experience in bus or similar vehicle operation; or any equivalent combination of education and experience which would provide the following knowledge, skills, and abilities:
Demonstrated, substantive experience in the operation of large buses.
Has knowledge of bus operation and bus equipment.
Has considerable knowledge of motor vehicle laws, ordinances and safe driving practices, and streets and locations within the City of Nashville.
Has knowledge of safety standards and precautions pertaining to proper bus operation.
Must have the ability to sit, drive, and maneuver long-wheel-based vehicles for extended periods of time.

College Success Mentors provide postsecondary support to graduates of the Martha O'Bryan Center's Academic Student Unions, with the goal of promoting persistence and degree completion. Mentors maintain regular contact with a core caseload of students and coordinate cohort-based activities that foster peer-to-peer support. Positions are located at Middle Tennessee State University (MTSU), Nashville State Community College, and Tennessee State University (TSU) and Belmont University. This position is part-time approximately 10 hours per week. Most activities occur on campus with monthly off campus meetings at the Martha O'Bryan Center in Nashville.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Work collaboratively with Academic Student Union coaches to provide support to underclassmen enrolled in the program.
Plan, coordinate, and facilitate monthly student social events.
Develop and maintain relationships with college administration and student services groups.
Advocate for students as necessary.
Prepare weekly reports for ASU staff
Maintain accurate data associated with all mentee meetings and events.
Perform other duties as assigned.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
