Martin Limestone, Inc., founded in 1933, is the manufacturer of Diamond-Tex products.
After New Enterprise incorporated in 1950, the four brothers expanded and diversified, adding precast/prestressed concrete and concrete pipe plants, and more quarries.
Martin Stone Quarries has been mining material from its Bechtelsville location since 1953, when Henry Martin leased the property.
Diamond-Tex began in 1957 by the joint efforts of Simon Zook, the owner of a small quarry in southeastern PA, and Bill Wilson, a stone salesman from Philadelphia, who sold stone from Zook’s quarry.
