What to expect: Martin Marietta is seeking a Pit Loader Operator to join our team. The ideal individual will be safety conscious, dependable, and motivated. This individual will be responsible for safely and efficiently operating a Pit Loader and maintaining the quality of product stockpiles. The pit loader will maintain safe working speeds and promote site safety by asserting leadership of truck drivers onsite. Basic Job Functions: Safety is the most important part of all jobs within Nucor; therefore, candidates must be able to demonstrate the ability to initiate, lead, and uphold safety policies, practices, procedures, and housekeeping standards at all times. Properly follow company and OSHA safety procedures. Operate mobile heavy equipment of various sizes and types (mobile shear, excavator, grapple and magnet material handlers). Communicates over radio with team members for traffic coordination, production, and safety procedures. Perform daily inspections on equipment and report any defects or needed repairs to supervisor. Clean equipment as needed. Greet customers coming into the yard and direct them to the proper location to unload materials from their vehicles. Inspect material brought in by our customers for existence of non-acceptable items and ensure that those prohibited materials are not left on Company property. Examples are propane tanks, batteries, etc. Interact with customers and team members to facilitate a safe and productive yard environment. This position will be responsible for designing and maintaining robust data models that support business intelligence and analytics initiatives, while also contributing to data engineering tasks that ensure data quality, accessibility, and performance. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: Design and develop data pipelines that facilitate the collection, storage, and processing of data from D365 and various other sources. What to expect: Martin Marietta is seeking a Maintenance Welder to join our team. The ideal individual will be safety conscious, dependable, and motivated. This individual will be responsible for safely and efficiently repairing and maintaining plant industrial equipment and machinery. The maintenance welder will be responsible for repairs and maintenance of equipment to include conveyor systems, shakers, gearboxes, fixed plant equipment, and other mobile equipment as necessary. Arrowood Quarry Charlotte, North Carolina Hours: Monday - Friday 6PM - 2AM A typical day for a(n) Maintenance Welder may include: * Troubleshooting, repairing and maintaining all plant equipment often in out of position welding * Maximizing performance of equipment by performing repairs and ensuring preventative maintenance is completed on a timely basis * Performing fabrication, erection of processing equipment and repairs to processing equipment and mobile equipment * Completing daily pre and post inspection of working area * Operating other equipment such as loaders and haul trucks in a safe manner as needed * Aiding in the training of co-workers as needed * Performing other duties as assigned by supervisor You may be a good fit if you: * Possess a High School Diploma, GED or equivalent experience to perform the responsibilities associated with this position * Have one (1) year of experience in welding and maintenance
