SUMMARY
Under the supervision of the Shift Supervisor, operates and maintains equipment to grind clinker to make cement.
RESPONSIBILITIES
* Operates grinding mills and associated machinery from computer system.
* Cleans control room and immediate area.
* Assists and directs Mill Oiler in housekeeping and lubrication
* Keeps operating records.
* Changes equipment settings and operating parameters as directed, or as needed per system conditions.
* Checks process flow of raw mill and finish mills.
* Visual inspections of belts, guards, catwalks, handrails, and additional process and safety equipment.
* Operates bobcat loader and lift truck.
* Assists with kiln repairs when needed.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
* Must be able to climb ladder of 20-50' in height.
* Must be able to be on your feet 8-12 hours a day on concrete.
* Must be able to use shovel, broom, and wheelbarrow for housekeeping.

What Warehouse Operations contributes to Cardinal Health
Operations is responsible for materials handling and product distribution in a distribution or manufacturing environment. Includes warehousing and fulfillment of materials and products, transportation, inventory management as well as demand, supply and manufacturing planning.
Responsibilities
* Unloading trucks in the Inbound section by using a pallet jack or equivalent devices to put pallets out of the trucks.
* Using Manhattan Warehouse Management System to check in products. If working with specialty products, must follow regulations to store refrigerated products.
* Storing products in warehouse locations using order picker or other devices.
* Picking products from warehouse locations and loads into outbound trucks.
* Cross-training in multiple departments: Inbound, Replenishment and Outbound
* Breaking down cases of product and operate PIT equipment to stock or replenish warehouse
* Utilizing voice to pick system to pick large case items with material handling equipment or to pick small unit of measure items and place on cart
* Ensuring high quality through attention to detail and correctly identify products by item number
* Organizing and segregate similar items at point of receipt
* Breaking down and palletizing large items to skid and wrap for shipment
* Packing and correctly label small items in boxes or bags

Qualifications

Position Summary
Under the immediate direction of the Lead person or Supervisor, the Equipment Operator is responsible for operating mobile equipment while moving raw materials from train to stockpile and loading finished products.
