Job Description The Directional Drill Operator leads the crew to complete daily tasks related to the construction and maintenance of underground distribution power lines. This position works at various locations and may also be required to travel to another state depending on customer demands. Essential Functions: Demonstrated extensive underground distribution construction experience. Horizontal Directional Drilling (HDD) experience is required. Must have previous experience working from blueprints, and specifications. Operates Directional Drill for installation of underground power lines. Ensures safety of the public and other utilities underground facilities. Reads utility locates and coordinating day lighting of these facilities.
