* Performs a variety of general manual labor tasks under direct supervision. Common tasks are shovel work, sweeping, lifting, cleaning, and acting as a spotter.
* Uses various tools and equipment to support production operations such as skid steer shovels or other equipment to remove excess material from beneath the plant.
* Assists Plant Operators, Equipment Operators, and Maintenance Crew with daily duties/projects as requested.
* Keep plant clean to eliminate possible hazards
* Follow all safety and environmental rules and regulations

Requirements
* High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent experience
* Must be safety conscious, dependable, motivated, and possess a positive attitude in working with others as a team.
* Must be able to lift to 50 lbs
* Previous construction or industry experience is a bonus but not required.
* Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen, physical, and background check.
Working Conditions
All duties require outside assignments and periods of work in all weather conditions, cold, wet or dry, and dusty. Must be able to work in areas where noise levels are up to 85 dbs.
Pay Posting: The hiring range for this position is $23.00 -$29.00 exclusive of benefits or bonuses (discretionary and non-discretionary). The offered base compensation will be determined based on factors such as geographic location, business need, market conditions, proficiencies, skills, education, and experience. Additionally, at Martin Marietta we place a high value on internal pay equity and will consider the compensation for those in similarly situated roles and direct team members. The hiring range for this role represents the base compensation we expect to pay for the position at time of hire and does not represent the total possible base pay of the position.
