Martin Marietta is seeking a Welder to join at our Salisbury, NC shop. Reporting to the Shop Manager, the Welder will primarily be responsible for safely performing weld buildup and cutting operations on rock crusher machines and sub-assemblies as part of an overall remanufacture process.
Job Responsibilities:
* Maintain a high level of safety and ensure that the team maintains a safety-first culture
* Perform weld build up on crusher parts using manual, semi-automatic and mechanized welding processes
* Utilize welding processes such as FCAW, GMAW, SMAW, and SAW
* Use positioners and manipulators to maneuver large workpieces to be welded
* Perform cutting operations using oxyacetylene, oxyfuel, exothermic, carbon air arc, plasma cutters, grinders and a CNC burn table.
* Excavate cracks, use dye penetrant, bevel and fill crack repair in steels
* Use hydraulic rams to push and pull pieces in and out of place
* Ensure completion of quality control documentation
* Operate rosebuds, torches and induction rope to preheat pieces to desired welding temperatures
* Load, unload and program a stress relief oven
* Weld on cast iron, manganese, and Cu-AL dissimilar
* Use tooling such as an ironworker, horizontal and vertical bandsaws, magnetic drills, come-a-longs, chain-hoists, grinders, hammers and wedges to accomplish assigned tasks
* Complete task training on all overhead cranes, forklifts, sweepers, manlift, scissor lifts, welders and torches within 90 days of hire
* Use 5S methodology in conjunction with the floor sweeper to maintain a clean and safe workplace
* Extend total life expectancy of assets by learning PM procedures for all equipment utilized and remanufactured by the welding group
* Report damaged tools and tag out of service so that they can be replaced
* Develop operational equipment checks to catch failures before they arise
Requirements:
* HS Diploma or GED required
* Must be a self-motivated, strong work ethic individual that is willing to work with minimal supervision and at high level of accountability to operational requirements
* A strong mechanical background
* Ability to correctly measure parts with tape measures, pi tapes and straight edges are necessary to perform the job functions
* Basic computer skills with the ability to report and transfer information
* Ability to work outdoors in changing weather conditions, cold and wind, sometimes rain, will be required
* Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. will be required

What You'll Do:
Oversee Electrical Maintenance Program. Provide oversight for the electrical maintenance program for North Carolina and South Carolina.

Skills You'll Need:
Education. A Bachelor's degree is preferred.
Experience. Must have at least 10 years of supervisory experience.
Functional Knowledge. A good working knowledge of PLC systems and programming is preferred. Must have a thorough knowledge of electrical codes, plant and electrical equipment, low and medium voltage power distribution, and electrical equipment used in the plant and on locomotives, power shovels, and other operating equipment. What your day in this role might involve at OC Stokesdale:
The primary purpose of this position is to safely stack materials accurately and meet quality standards for material shipments.
* Must meet all personal performance requirements
* Must inspect products coming to the machine for defects and proper paint coverage and receive proper sign off on the quality control sheet.
* Grade material off back of machine to appropriate customer specifications
* Separate out unsuitable material that would not make grade
* Demonstrate the ability to pack products to customer requirements, stack sticks, banding, proper count, skids, etc.
* Keep accurate daily paperwork. Learn to read and process orders on the display monitor
* Tie up finished units to be pulled and tagged properly
* Complete putty repairs as needed and repair or re-install weatherstrip if not fully seated
* Communicate counts and completions of quantities in a timely manner
* Keep the area clean and organized to 5S standards. Use time during delays to clean around all areas of the machine, with the intent to minimize clean-up downtime required at the end of the shift
* Assist in other areas as needed

What Warehouse Operations contributes to Cardinal Health

Job Summary
The Supervisor, Warehouse Operations supervises a team of Associates and ensures that pick, pack, and ship operations are safe, efficient, and of high quality. With responsibility for a day or night shift, the Supervisor continually monitors efficiency and quality metrics, assigns work and provides coaching to supervised staff, and addresses a variety of operational issues. The Supervisor directly contributes to Cardinal Health's customer service reputation by ensuring that shipments are on-time and of high quality, develops the Warehouse Operations talent pool, and enhances operational excellence.
Responsibilities
Supervises the daily work assignments and performance of Group Leads and Associates. Tracks efficiency and productivity metrics to determine which tasks are behind- and ahead-of-schedule, and provides hands-on guidance to Associates to ensure that pick, pack, and ship tasks are completed correctly and safely.
Ensures that all warehouse systems are ready and schedules and prioritizes the work that each Group Lead and team of Associates will complete. Tracks employee attendance and ensures necessary employee headcount to achieve objectives.
Monitors continually productivity and quality metrics including cycle times, lines per hour, shortages, damaged units, missed dispatches, and missed scans, among others. Regularly reports on team performance to the Manager, Warehouse Operations.
Determines the productivity or safety issue root cause and directs supervised staff on resolving the issue and maintaining operations. Promptly and thoroughly documents the issue and communicates the root cause and resolution to the Manager, Supervisors, and other internal stakeholders as necessary.
Proactively identifies opportunities to improve operations and mitigate risks within supervised team and broader warehouse operations. Provides input into operational excellence initiatives and ensures that there are implemented correctly within own area.
Conducts performance evaluations and provides one-on-one feedback to encourage Associates' development. Identifies Associates capable of working as Group Leads. Creates performance improvement plans for staff and administers discipline when necessary.
Participates in the interviewing and selection of new Associates and provides trainings during employee onboarding.

Your Responsibilities• Develop working knowledge of AutoCAD and the basics of Nucor Rebar Fabrication's detailing system (RebarCAD).• Develop basic knowledge of reinforcing bar industry including reference material (i.e., CRSI and ACI).• Detail simple projects with little or no assistance (i.e., simple foundations, walls, footings, piers, slabs, stairs, retaining walls and other products as required).• Submit placing drawings for approval and ensure conformance to the Branch quality assurance and the placer/shop requirements.• Process change orders to maximize all possible returns for the Branch.• Maintain all deliveries for fabrication.• Communicate with customer, placer and Architect/Engineer on all questions relating to project; submit Requests for Information (RFI) as required.• Work with Detailing Manager to ensure that all specialty items are pre-ordered to maintain construction schedules.• Follow one or more projects from estimate through detailing and fabrication to installation at the job site.• Under the direction of management, be involved in all construction conflicts/disputes (whether contractor, placer, detailer, or shop), and help with a resolution that is a time and cost-effective solution.• Participate in weekly meetings to discuss safety, innovative ideas, workloads, availability, issues and problems of the week for all to learn and share.Minimum Qualifications:
* Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship now or in the future• Vocational certificate (or are currently enrolled) in CAD design/drafting OR related degree issued from an accredited school or college• At least six months experience using AutoCAD and Windows based software • Able to read architectural/engineering blueprints Preferred Qualifications:
* Two-year technical degree from an accredited school or college• Construction and concrete related knowledge and experience • Basic knowledge of civil technology • Ability to work as a team member on projects with an aptitude for problem solving• Organized and detail-oriented• Able to manage time effectively and prioritize responsibilities• Effective communication skills

Communication and coordination of export logistics in regard to transportation of material.
Responsibilities
Schedule of all nonferrous truck loads from OmniSource SE facilities.
Schedule and reschedule appointments with customers.
Communicate with yards on transportation scheduling and issues as they arise.
Update and maintain transportation accounts receivables.
Maintain export available for sale reporting.
Enter export contracts.
Complete CCIC and all other documentation for export.
Request bookings for freight.
Compile information on export claims.
All other tasks as assigned.
Qualifications
Knowledge of transportation and/or logistics.
High school diploma or GED.
Minimum of three years related experience.
Detail-oriented with the ability to multitask.
Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
