Job Type: Full-Time About the Role Harley-Davidson Louisville and BMW Motorcycles of Louisville are looking for a dependable Building Custodian & Facilities Maintenance team member who will be responsible for keeping both dealerships clean, organized, and properly maintained. This role focuses strictly on building cleanliness and basic facility upkeep-no parts, sales, stocking, or service department duties. Key Responsibilities: Custodial Duties * Clean and maintain all customer and employee areas * Sweep, mop, vacuum, dust, and sanitize floors and surfaces daily * Clean restrooms, restock basic supplies, and ensure they remain presentable * Empty trash and recycling across the building * Maintain glass doors, windows, and showroom floors for a polished appearance * Keep exterior entryways clear of debris, dirt, and cigarette waste * Assist with cleaning tasks following dealership events (open houses, bike nights, etc.) General Building Maintenance * Replace light bulbs, maintain fixtures, and handle simple repairs * Perform routine walk-throughs to identify issues needing attention * Light landscaping: weed removal, blowing off sidewalks, basic grounds upkeep * Seasonal tasks such as snow/ice removal or salt application as needed * Assist with maintaining a clean warehouse, storage rooms, and mechanical areas * Notify management when outside vendors (HVAC, plumbing, electrical, etc.) are required Qualifications * Strong attention to detail and pride in maintaining a clean environment * Ability to lift 50+ lbs and perform physical tasks continuously * Basic hands-on repair and maintenance ability * Dependable, self-motivated, and able to work independently * Previous custodial or general maintenance experience preferred but not required * Comfortable working around motorcycles and within a busy dealership environment
