Excellent organization skills and multi-tasking. Proficient in MS Office suite, with a strong emphasis on Excel and ease to learn how to use new software. EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE This position requires a minimum of a bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university, or the equivalent of field-related experience.Must have one year of Customer Service/Cash Office experience. Must have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, string time management and organizational skills, the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.

It is the duty of the Tankerman/ Person to oversee cargo transfer operations which are covered by extensive laws and regulations of the U.S. Coast Guard and other federal and local government agencies. The objective of the Tankerman/ Person is safe, pollution-free and efficient cargo movements and transfers and to the safety of the environment and to the public. The Tankerman/ Person is primary accountable for his own health, safety, and cleanliness. He must be familiar with Martin Marine - SMS-Safety Management System , VRP- Vessel Response Policies, procedures, safety rules and regulations, and must abide by them at all times. The Tankerman/ Person are responsible for the safety, operational, maintenance and housekeeping duties while serving on a Martin vessel.
