Blue Wave America is seeking motivated individuals to join our team as full-time Field Organizers for the 2025 election cycle, leading the effort to drive turnout in the rural counties of Virginia.
Field Organizers will work to elect Democrats up and down the ballot and will be
responsible for implementing an aggressive field plan and managing the GOTV operation in
rural Virginia. In addition, Field Organizers will be responsible for engaging in relational
organizing and deep canvassing strategies by cultivating relationships with relational volunteers and assisting with regional events.
Field Organizers will report directly to the Regional Field Director. This is a hybrid
position requiring in-personal travel throughout Southside Rural Virginia, which includes
Campbell County, Caroll County, Charlotte County, Floyd County, Franklin County, Galax City,
Halifax County, Henry County, Lunenberg County, Mecklenburg County, Patrick County,
Pittsylvania County, Prince Edward County. Candidates with prior personal or professional
experience in rural Virginia are strongly encouraged to apply.
This position is classified as non-exempt and will be compensated at $4,000 per month,
paid in installments twice monthly, with 100% employer-paid medical insurance. Assigned
overtime will be required for this position and paid at time and a half of the hourly rate.

11. Customer focus: Interacts with customers if required to ensure their expectations for quality and quantity of material are met.

13. Community relations: Works proactively with local community to ensure plant is a valued member of the community.
