The Role
Clinical Responsibilities (65% of time)
As a Radiation Physics Medical Physicist, you will be the backbone of our clinical physics program:
• Consult with radiation oncologists, dosimetrists, and radiation therapists on treatment planning and clinical problem-solving
• Perform comprehensive patient-specific dose calculations and treatment plan verification for all assigned patients
• Conduct weekly quality assurance checks on dose calculations and treatment plans
• Lead quality assurance programs for all radiation-producing equipment, performing routine calibrations, safety checks, and performance testing
• Perform specialized dosimetry for advanced treatment techniques including IMRT/VMAT QA, brachytherapy, and in-vivo dosimetry
• Ensure compliance with all radiation safety standards and regulatory requirements

The Role
Clinical Responsibilities (65% of time)
As a Radiation Physics Medical Physicist, you will be the backbone of our clinical physics program:
* Consult with radiation oncologists, dosimetrists, and radiation therapists on treatment planning and clinical problem-solving
* Perform comprehensive patient-specific dose calculations and treatment plan verification for all assigned patients
* Conduct weekly quality assurance checks on dose calculations and treatment plans
* Lead quality assurance programs for all radiation-producing equipment, performing routine calibrations, safety checks, and performance testing

Job Description:
SCOPE: Responsible for registration and registration of patients, as well as scheduling, collections & authorizations. Functions in a comprehensive patient access role to include duties of both a PFC and a receptionist for the clinic. The employee shall demonstrate the ability to provide customer-focused service with all individuals internal and external to the clinic as well as maintain a positive work relationship with other members of the clinic staff and access team to facilitate clinical and financial patient care.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
* Reception of patients to include arriving patient, collecting co-pay and deductibles due at time of service and verify authorization is obtained if applicable. Managing incoming calls to the centers
* Scheduling. Schedules appointments, including follow-ups, diagnostics, treatments, and patient access. Coordinates scheduling patients to outside physicians and from outside physicians, ensuring that a valid authorization is obtained before scheduled services.
* Pre-Registration and registration of patients. Verification of demographics and insurance for patients; collecting payment at time of service including completion of forms to maintain compliance. Responsible for communicating with clinical staff to ensure no authorizations are missed
* Working as a patient financial counselor as needed by advising patients of programs that we offer and directing the patient to the appropriate party such as the financial navigator for assistance.
* Other duties as assigned by patient access manager
QUALIFICATIONS:
1. High School Diploma or GED
2. Minimum of 3 years' experience in medical office required
3. Knowledge of insurance benefits, authorization process and contracting also required
4. Must be able to work independently, possess strong organizational and communication skills and to adhere to established goals and deadlines

We are seeking a motivated, forward-thinking Radiation Therapist to join our progressive radiation oncology team, delivering Adaptive Radiation Therapy (ART) using the Elekta Unity MR-Linac-one of the most advanced technologies in cancer treatment today.

What You'll Do
Deliver daily Adaptive Radiation Therapy treatments using the Elekta Unity system, adjusting plans in real time to match the patient's anatomy and tumor response. Collaborate closely with radiation oncologists, medical physicists, and dosimetrists to ensure precision, safety, and effectiveness of treatment delivery. Perform daily imaging, target contouring, and documentation with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail. Participate in quality assurance procedures, workflow improvement initiatives, and departmental innovations related to adaptive therapy. Support onboarding and training of new team members and students, helping build expertise in this evolving area of practice. Maintain a clean, safe, and patient-focused treatment environment, adhering to all safety protocols.
What We're Looking For
Graduate of an accredited radiation therapy program. ARRT certification in Radiation Therapy (RT(T)) and eligible for licensure in Louisiana. Experience with image-guided or adaptive radiation therapy preferred; experience with Elekta systems or Unity MR-Linac is a strong plus. Strong clinical judgment, communication skills, and ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. Job Description:
Scope of Position: To provide the best possible care to our patients by: assisting patients, assisting physician when needed, preparing charts (paper or electronic) for physician review; and communicating with patients, clients, and staff in a professional and courteous manner. Satellite Office staffing.
Perform other miscellaneous duties as assigned.

Assisting in a clinic for 2 years or more preferred
