    Project Services Manager Maryland Energy Advisors (MDEA) is a rapidly growing energy management company that serves some of the area's largest businesses, including real estate owners, restaurants, and manufacturers. We provide consulting services for utilities across the United States, and we are looking for a customer centric individual to join our team. The Project Services Manager is responsible for managing energy projects on behalf of clients within our Commercial Solutions division. This role involves overseeing the execution of various energy initiatives, including energy benchmarking, retro-commissioning, solar projects, energy auditing, and energy data management. In addition to project management, the Project Services Manager will play a key role in customer success, ensuring client satisfaction and expanding the adoption of additional energy efficiency services. This is a remote position with travel requirements for client meetings, site assessments, and internal team meetings. PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES Project Management Lead and manage energy projects from initiation to completion, ensuring on-time and within-budget delivery. Coordinate with internal teams, external vendors, and clients to develop project timelines, scope, and objectives. Track project performance and provide regular updates to stakeholders. Identify and mitigate potential project risks to ensure smooth execution. Maintain project documentation, reports, and records for internal and client use. Customer Success & Business Growth Act as the primary point of contact for existing energy efficiency clients. Educate clients on additional energy efficiency services and drive adoption of new solutions. Conduct regular client meetings to assess satisfaction, identify new opportunities, and address concerns. Collaborate with sales and business development teams to expand service offerings within existing client accounts. Site Assessments & Travel Conduct on-site visits for energy audits, retro-commissioning assessments, and project evaluations. Participate in client presentations and stakeholder meetings as needed. Attend internal team meetings and training sessions to stay updated on company offerings and industry trends. QUALIFICATIONS Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Energy Management, Environmental Science, Business, or a related field (or equivalent experience). 5+ years of experience in project management, energy efficiency, or a related industry. Strong knowledge of energy efficiency solutions, including benchmarking, retro-commissioning, and renewable energy projects. Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously with a high level of organization. Excellent communication and relationship-building skills to engage with clients effectively. Proficiency in project management tools and data analysis platforms related to energy management. Willingness and ability to travel as required. PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS Project Management Professional (PMP) or similar certification. Familiarity with utility rebate programs, energy regulations, and sustainability initiatives. About the Position: The Energy Efficiency Product Merchandiser (Retail) is responsible for supporting the growth and expansion of energy efficiency products in retail locations throughout the Georgia Power service territory. The Energy Efficiency Product Merchandiser (Retail) will ensure products are accurately priced and placed within the store, provide education to employees at retail locations on product benefits and best practices for selling products to consumers, and assist clients with understanding potential savings opportunities. This is a field-oriented role for individuals that thrive on the road and are energized by face-to-face engagement and problem-solving in dynamic environments. This role requires a strong commitment to meeting store visit targets, regardless of weather conditions, holidays, or other challenges. PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES Travel to retail locations within Georgia Power service territory to support commercial point-of-sale program. Provide education to clients and consumers on commercial savings opportunities. This includes providing knowledge and information on energy-efficient technologies to retail associates, contractors and other trade allies participating in programs targeted at the commercial and industrial sector as well as consumers. Develop rapport and build relationships with retailers and external clients. Conduct Retailer/Trade Ally outreach and training as needed. Prepare status reports to accurately describe activities in the field and to monitor progress towards achievement of program goals. Attend client-sponsored promotional events at wholesale and retail levels, which will include occasional evenings or weekends. Assist in preparation of internal and client presentations. Contribute to the evolution of program strategies and the design of program features, services, and marketing campaigns. Assist with other projects and adapt to changing program priorities. QUALIFICATIONS High school diploma. Ability to travel within the Georgia Power service territory. Must have a current, valid driver's license, clean driving record, and proof of motor vehicle insurance, and reliable transportation. Flexibility to rotating weekends and additional hours, as needed. Proven attention to detail, time management, organization, and prioritization. Ability to work well under pressure and self-motivate. Excellent written and oral communication skills with both technical and non-technical audiences. Outstanding interpersonal skills. Demonstrated ability to connect quickly with others and work effectively at all levels within and outside of the organization, including vendors and business partners. Intermediate experience in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Access. PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or Communications or Equivalent Experience 1-3 years of experience working with commercial trade allies working on energy efficiency programs in Georgia or experience building relationships with trade allies in similar markets. Bilingual in Spanish, highly desired Customer-centric mindset Certified Energy Manager, LEED, other industry certifications are a plus WORK ENVIRONMENT This position requires the individual to travel to retail locations and other locations within the Georgia Power service territory. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk, hear, stand, walk, use hands, and occasionally lift office products and supplies up to 20 pounds. “Office” work is to be primarily conducted from home.
