About the Volunteer Position
Volunteers fulfill a variety of roles within Maryville dependent on the volunteer s interests and programmatic needs. Volunteers assist Maryville in meeting its mission to their clients by providing structure, stability and guidance. They are part of a team effort to promote the well-being and individual growth of youth in Maryville care by sharing their commitment with a youth to help make their future a success. Volunteers gain valuable experience working with youth.
Essential Functions
Commit to one day a week working with assigned population at designated time and sites schedule is negotiable.
Report to the supervisor upon your arrival to receive an update regarding the youth.
Document arrival and departure in sign-in book/or on individual time sheet to be turned into volunteer coordinator or program manager on site.
Report any unusual incidents to the supervisor prior to departure.
Follow directives of staff.
Assist Maryville staff during group-time with the youth.
Help individual youth with homework or activity.
Maintain ethical standards as described by Maryville at all times.
Maintain open communication with shift supervisors, program manager and other team members involved with the youth.
Maintain confidentiality regarding youth.

POSITION SUMMARY:

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Supervise three or more other Transitional Counselors;
Provide input into the development of treatment plans and objectives;
Participate in the milieu while observing and addressing interactions of staff and youth to provide constructive feedback both verbally and in written form;
Provide ongoing consultations/evaluations for Youth Care Workers and maintains programmatic files for subordinates in conjunction with the Program Manager;
Assist with the orientation of program participants and staff members;
Oversee the written documentation required daily for each youth, including, but not limited to record documentation, billing logs, medical logs, and specific information as requested by the Treatment Team;
Lead shift transition meetings and participates in staff meetings and in-service trainings, as needed;
Provide coordination of daily activities including therapy sessions, recreation, meal planning, visitations, the self-administration of medication by the youth and group interventions;
Direct and encourage staff members when dealing with crisis situations;
Participate in continued performance quality improvement;
Perform other work related duties as assigned.
OTHER FUNCTIONS:
Assist with the allocation of daily financial resources in accordance with the programmatic budget;
Perform duties to ensure client/staff ratios are met daily;
Transport clients in a Maryville van, as needed.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
Education/Experience:
Bachelor s Degree required in human service related field from an accredited college or university preferred, plus two years of residential child care experience.
Minimum of 25 years of age.

About the Care Provider Position
The Evening Care Provider provides services for a diverse population of Unaccompanied Children (UC) of all ages and genders. Responsible for the day-to-day care and guidance of the youth of the Maryville Unaccompanied Children program. About the Nurse Practitioner Position
Provides support to the staff by following up on all clinic, hospital, and therapeutic visits and facilitating communication about all orders. Monitors all patient equipment to assure proper setting and compliance with all MD orders. Demonstrates clinical problem solving and critical thinking skills necessary to assure patient safety and staff support.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Follows up on all medical visits and ensures that all orders are followed and implemented;
Evaluates medication and medical supplies and places orders as necessary;
Assists with development and implementation of the plan of care for each patient;
Completes daily bedside assessments;
Attends patient care rounds and offers input to staff on each patient s needs;
Attends healthcare appointments with CHC patients as needed;
Attends staff meetings and presents information and educational topics as requested by the Director of Nursing;

Support clients in their clinical, medical, faith-based, peer and family support, self-care and other treatments.
Work one on one with clients to set goals towards achieving positive change as they define it for themselves, help assess progress in achieving personal goals, and assist clients redefine goals as indicated. Work with clients to remove barriers to achieving positive change.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
Education/Experience
Bachelor Degree in one of the fields referenced in DHS/DCFS Rule132.

About the Nurse Manager (RN) Position
The Nurse Manager (RN) will supervise staff, visitors, students, and others on at the CHC. This position requires advanced knowledge in the field of nursing. The Nurse Manager possesses good judgement and decision making qualities concerning care of medically complex children, safety, and management of visitors and overall supervision of the CHC unit. The position requires management of the CHC under the supervision of the Director of Nursing, Nurse Practitioner and Medical Director for the CHC.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Follows Maryville s and CHC Standard Operating procedures. Reviews and assists in updating CHC Standard Operating procedures, when necessary
