    MG2, an affiliate of Colliers Engineering & Design is currently looking for an Architecture Job Captain to join our Client Programs Market team in Seattle, WA! You will be working in our Client Programs (CP) Market, where you will have the unique opportunity to work on global and national building programs with a focus on project and client leadership through all phases of design and delivery. Our new job captain should have experience in production and delivery of contract documents. The emphasis in this role is on gaining expertise and applying knowledge to more complicated projects and/or new responsibilities related to architectural design, technical documentation, and project coordination. Individuals must be detail oriented and highly collaborative. Responsibilities Assist with the production of contract deliverables including field surveys, design drawings, construction documents, exhibits, and specifications. Primary focus is on project coordination, detailing, and adherence to MG2 and/or client specific production standards. Provide administrative support for project teams, including creating meeting agendas and minutes, updating project trackers, completing permit applications or checklists, maintaining RFI and submittal logs, and generating various types of project reports. Assist with code research and feasibility studies including coordinating directly with AHJ representatives. Actively participate in the production and coordination of deliverables during construction administration. This may include conducting site visits, generating field reports, reviewing RFIs and submittals, and active participation in OAC meetings. Produce accurate and timely work in accordance with weekly workplans and direction given. Work should demonstrate understanding of design intent and comprehension of project budget. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in architecture or a related field. 3+ years of experience in a professional architecture or design firm. Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of project design, documentation, and delivery standards. Proficiency with Revit, AutoCAD, and MS Office. Some experience with design and visualization tools including Sketch-Up, Adobe Creative Suite, Affinity, and Enscape. Ability to read, write and understand English for purposes of comprehending written job-related communications and verbal instructions and interactions. Overview The Senior Data & Process Architecture SME will serve as a lead architect and subject matter expert supporting a U.S. Government client in the assessment, re-design, and enablement of a complex, mission-critical business process. This role focuses on evaluating and selecting an integrated software ecosystem spanning data analytics, data engineering/management, data access and permissions, and large-scale business process management (BPM) workflows. The individual will work with senior stakeholders to assess existing tools (e.g., Oracle) and evaluate new platform options, defining a target-state architecture and actionable implementation roadmap. This role requires strong technical breadth, architectural judgment, and the ability to translate business and mission needs into software and platform decisions in a regulated government environment. Responsibilities Assessment & Architecture Support assessment of current-state business processes, data flows, analytics capabilities, and supporting software platforms Evaluate strengths, gaps, and redundancies across existing tools (e.g., analytics platforms, BPM tools, financial systems, data platforms) Define target-state architecture options spanning data ingestion, storage, analytics, permissions, workflow orchestration, and reporting Develop platform comparison criteria and conduct structured evaluations of candidate solutions (COTS and PaaS) Software & Platform Selection Assess tools such as Databricks, Oracle, Foundry, Appian, OneStream, and alternative platforms for fit against mission, scale, and governance needs Evaluate integration touchpoints between analytics platforms, workflow/BPM tools, and authoritative data sources Identify data governance, access control, and security implications of candidate architectures Support cost, licensing, and deployment model analysis (on-prem, cloud, hybrid, FedRAMP considerations) Communication & Documentation Prepare clear, executive-ready deliverables including architecture diagrams, trade studies, decision memos, and implementation roadmaps Brief and defend recommendations with senior client stakeholders in both formal and informal settings Document assumptions, constraints, risks, and dependencies associated with recommended solutions Minimum Qualifications Minimum 6 years experience spanning data architecture, analytics platforms, enterprise systems, or business process enablement Demonstrated experience working across multiple phases of the data lifecycle, including ingestion, transformation, analytics, and consumption Experience evaluating or architecting solutions involving data platforms, workflow/BPM tools, and enterprise applications Working knowledge of modern analytics platforms (e.g., Databricks or equivalent) and BPM/workflow systems (e.g., Appian or similar) Strong understanding of data governance, access controls, and permissions in enterprise or government environments Ability to communicate complex technical concepts clearly to non-technical and senior stakeholders Proven ability to operate independently and deliver high-quality work products with minimal supervision Preferred Qualifications Prior experience supporting U.S. Government clients in a consulting or program environment Experience conducting software/platform trade studies or technology selection assessments Familiarity with FedRAMP, IL levels, or government cloud deployment considerations Experience integrating analytics platforms with BPM/workflow tools Background in financial systems, planning platforms, or enterprise performance management tools (e.g., OneStream or similar) Experience working in environments with complex data access and role-based permissions Relevant certifications (e.g., cloud architecture, data architecture, enterprise architecture), preferred but not required Technomics is an Equal Opportunity Employer. Our new Project Architect will be primarily responsible for overseeing the development and execution of architectural construction documents. They work closely with outside consultants and provide guidance to internal project teams through all phases of design and documentation. They will also be responsible for coordinating construction administration and project close-out activities. Responsibilities Oversee the production and coordination of contract deliverables including field surveys, design drawings, construction documents, exhibits, and specifications. Primary focus is ensuring completeness of the work in alignment with the project contract and design intent, maintaining MG2 quality standards, and coordinating consultant deliverables. Collaborate with internal design staff on the integration of design generated deliverables into contract documents and specifications. Individuals must display a detailed understanding of how jurisdictional requirements, client standards, and programmatic guidelines impact and inform design. Assist with generating accurate and complete project specifications that align with project scope, design intent, and contractual deliverables. Participate in QA/QC reviews of all deliverables, including coordination and review of consultant documents, drawings, and specifications. Coordinate external submittals to local permitting authorities and various AHJ's. This includes the coordination of deliverables, completion of administrative tasks, and execution of site-specific submittal process and procedures. Participate in the production and coordination of deliverables during construction administration. This may include attending site visits, generating field reports, reviewing submittals and RFIs and generating formal responses for issuance. Produce accurate and timely work in accordance with the project schedules and workplans. Work should demonstrate understanding of design intent and comprehension of project budget. Qualifications Bachelor's or Master‘s degree in Architecture or a related field. 6+ years of experience in a professional architecture or design firm. Proficiency with Revit, Auto-CAD, and MS Office. Demonstrated experience utilizing collaboration software such as Bluebeam, Miro, and Teams. Demonstrated experience coordinating architectural construction documents; Previous documentation of various project types, scale, and complexity preferred. Demonstrated experience in all aspects of construction administration including RFI / submittal review, generating field reports, and project close-out procedures.
