Oversees and coordinates the total construction effort in a wide range of building projects by personal performance or through supervision of superintendents and subordinate personnel. Job DescriptionSalary: Primary Function: The Estimator will be responsible for determining the cost of construction projects including large project changes. Responsibilities: 1. Determines and collaborates with the preconstruction team to determine scope of project(s). 2. Ability to read and interpret plans and specifications as well as identify discrepancies. 3. Designs, implements, and maintains cost estimating and subcontractor/supplier database(s). 4. Accountability and responsibility for construction cost estimates and/or bid. 5. Subject matter expert as it relates to cost estimating. 6. Responsible for soliciting the subcontractor and material supplier bids and follow through. 7.
