Provides a clean and safe environment for staff, visitors, and patients within the hospital. Enhances the appearance of the facility by maintaining a consistent floor care program. After collection and in the presence of the patient, accurately labels specimens following established hospital/laboratory policy. * Follows and understands downtime procedures when any or all of the computer systems are down that affect laboratory orders. * Operates computer equipment and software programs relative to performance of essential job functions and other laboratory related requirements. * Serves as a steward for the hospital's human and material resources.
