JOB SUMMARY Under the supervision of the Maintenance Manager, performs various duties relating to Building and Grounds maintenance, Vehicle Maintenance, and Housekeeping. Will be responsible for driving fleet vehicles to pick up and drop off clients when needed. Will be required to perform clerical duties to document various items for the Department. Should be independent as possible and support all other departments as needed. AREA OF RESPONSIBILITY: Work Schedule: Full Time; standard work week is Monday through Friday from 8am to 5pm with occasional overtime/weekend work required. Location/Travel: Onsite in Vista Care locations. RESPONSIBILITIES: Ensure the upkeep of maintenance items across all buildings and grounds. Perform trimming and mowing of grounds as needed. Execute painting tasks as required. Replace light bulbs and similar items as necessary. Conduct routine vehicle checks. Transport vehicles for repairs, fueling, and inspections in Springfield. Inspect and replace furnace filters as needed. Complete all assigned monthly paperwork in a timely manner. Maintain buildings in a state suitable for inspections. Willingness to work early morning hours for snow removal. Ability to shovel snow. Willingness to work some weekends (as needed). Responsible for completing yearly training in a timely manner. Complete all assigned monthly items in a timely manner. SKILLS/ABILITIES: Dust mopping. Wet mopping. Garbage collection. Laundry (as needed). Dusting for cobwebs as needed. Cleaning of trash containers as needed. Scrubbing of restrooms on part-time days (when assigned). Cleaning doors, windows, and other surfaces as needed. All other assigned housekeeping duties. Requirements Successful completion of all background checks. Possession of a High School Diploma or equivalent. A valid Driver's License, current automobile insurance, and an insurable driving record that aligns with Vista Care's current driving requirements. Possession of, or willingness to acquire, a Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with a passenger endorsement. Basic knowledge of electrical and plumbing systems. WORKING CONDITIONS/PHYSICAL DEMANDS: Ability to routinely lift at least 50 pounds. Ability to bend, twist, lift, reach, and assist individuals with their movements, including the ability to stand.
