Performs the initial assessment of needs during first visit and documents those needs within appropriate time frame. Assesses the emotional well-being, physical health, social function, communication abilities and cognitive skills through musical responses. * Degree in Cancer Registry Management or completed 60 hours of College Level Courses, including 6 college credit hours in Human Anatomy and Human Physiology.

COMPETENCIES:
* The level of knowledge/skills must be continually updated to remain proficient and accurate in the collection of data specific to the Cancer Registry, as well as the CoC Cancer Program Accreditation Standards.
* Strong personal computer skills with Microsoft Office Word and Outlook and experience with cancer registry software is also highly desirable.

* Responsible for serving as content expert for cancer accreditation and cancer registry.

* Responsible for achieving continued accreditation by the American College of Surgeons Commission on Cancer (AcoS CoC.)
* Responsible for overseeing cancer registry operations, including national data submissions, data quality assurance reviews, interpretation of regulatory standards and overall program management.
