About You and This Role - What you will do in this role
The role of the Packaging Operator includes operating equipment and process related control systems in a safe and efficient manner. The role involves optimizing plant performance by monitoring process equipment and conditions, conducting field checks, adjusting control systems and operating equipment based on process controls and observations. Eaton's ES AMER MFGSC division is currently seeking a Packer - 1st Shift at our Dallas, TX facility! The hourly rate for this position is $18.00 per hour. The core hours are 6:00 a.m. - 2:30 p.m. Overtime may exceed these hours and be mandatory at times.

The Packer will be responsible for packing orders in our Parcel, Pack Center, and Flex Center Pack Out Stations utilizing our Flagship system.

All new hires in hourly positions are placed in a 90-day Introductory period addressing safety, conduct, attendance, quality, and productivity after which they will be evaluated for continued employment.
In this function, you will:
* Utilize packing slips to generate and print move tickers, break down materials, sort styles, verify counts, and restock warehouse locations using RF scanners.
* Verify styles and quantities of picked materials, visually inspect products, scan and place them in shipping cartons. Add packing material to prevent damage, and place packing lists, content labels, and shipping labels as needed.
* Resolve discrepancies. Research all possible solutions to ensure order is accurate.
* Maintain quality workmanship, observe safety procedures, report unsafe acts, and perform work of equal of lower classification if necessary.
Qualifications:
Basic Qualifications:
* No relocation benefit is being offered for this position. Only candidates within a 50-mile radius of Dallas, TX will be considered. Active-Duty Military Service member candidates are exempt from the geographical area limitation.
