Overall Responsibilities: Operates Amada brake machine, power notcher and roller, hand brake, Haeger machines, drill and kick presses, and SPH-13 machines Coordinates each job with set-up person to ensure full understanding Ability to do simple set-ups on proven jobs according to standards Safely loads any tools and dyes necessary for each individual job Ensure that route sheets are complete and concise Ensure manufacturing drawings have the correct revision level, notes, tolerances, and dimensions Monitor cycle times and calculate PPH Complete move tickets, cost over run, and job routing system supplements. Weld Inspection & Finishing: Inspect welds throughout the process for quality, using grinding tools as necessary to achieve desired finishes. Machine & Workspace Maintenance: Keep machines and work areas clean and adhere to safety protocols. Quality Control: Inspect finished work to ensure it meets predetermined tolerances and standards. Cross-Functional Support: Assist in other areas or departments as assigned to meet production needs. What You'll Bring: MIG Welding Experience: Prior experience in MIG welding within a manufacturing environment or equivalent technical schooling is required. Additional Welding Skills: Experience with Flux Core welding is a plus. Tool Proficiency: Familiarity with grinding tools, drill presses, and ironwork is advantageous. Communication & Documentation: Basic oral communication skills; ability to read and understand written instructions in English and complete basic logs and reports in English. Physical Capability: Physically able to lift, push, pull, and position heavy components as required.
