Qualifications

Computational Skills: Knowledge of UNIX/Linux and statistical software such as R or SAS.
Statistical Skills: Expert at statistical methodology and the use of statistical software, coding, data analysis, and effective presentation of results. Comfortable with state‑of‑the‑art analytic techniques and reproducible research methods.

Job Summary
The mission of the MGB's Office of Clinical Research (OCR) is to increase the quantity, quality, and efficiency of clinical research at MGB. The MGB OCR nurtures and empowers the next generation of clinical research investigators and study staff by providing educational courses, guidance, and resources to the MGB clinical research community. Faculty-led consultation services and the project management support service core advise and provide logistical support to clinical research teams.
The Center for Clinical Research Education (CCRE) in the Office of Clinical Research (OCR) at MassGeneral Brigham (MGB) offers over 200 live and online courses annually with approximately 6,000+ participants. The CCRE is a well-regarded asset to MGB's clinical and translational research community.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities:
In collaboration with the Executive Director, the Manager is responsible for the strategic development, implementation, and oversight of educational and training programs that support clinical research staff, investigators, and trainees. The incumbent will engage in a wide range of efforts to design and implement clinical research educational programs aligned with institutional goals, regulatory, and industry standards. Along with a strong understanding of curriculum design principles, they must possess the ability to work collaboratively with a wide range of stakeholders and Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to develop high-quality educational courses that are engaging and offer effective learning experiences.
* Designs, implements, and develops a comprehensive curriculum for clinical research educational courses, incorporating best practices for curriculum design.
* Works closely with the CCRE's Education Coordinator to plan and map out the academic year's curriculum.
* Works with the CCRE's Instructional Designer to create, review, and revise curriculum and course content to meet changing regulatory and industry requirements.
* Is responsible for thinking proactively about the program, identifying gaps and emerging trends in clinical research education and training to build a well-rounded and premier educational program.
* Maps course plans and creates course outlines for production of online modules, works with subject matter experts to assist with live/online course development.
* Promotes educational offerings within and outside the institution.
* Organizes webinars, workshops, seminars, and conferences related to clinical research education.
* Keeps track of and maintains a list of accomplishments and highlights for the CCRE Annual Report
* Works closely with the CCRE's Application Analyst and Moodle Specialist on enrollment data and other projects.
* Ensures that courses are announced through appropriate channels so learners have advanced notice and time to register for courses.

The Opportunity
This Manager role is situated within the Mass General Brigham Project Management Office (MGB PMO), which reports into the Office of the Chief Operating Officer. This department of internal consultants and project managers partners with executive and senior leadership to identify, prioritize, and drive the implementation of system-wide initiatives that leverage the scale of Mass General Brigham (MGB) to reduce the rate of expense growth, improve patient care, accelerate research and innovation, and educate the next generation of clinicians. The MGB PMO uses a library of tools, templates, and methodologies to develop a custom approach to each initiative, balancing the efficiency that standards can provide with the effectiveness that comes from addressing each project's unique aspects. The team leverages a hybrid matrix/functional organization structure, where members of the MGB PMO can take on different roles within an initiative: as an Engagement Lead, a Delivery Lead, or a member of a Delivery Team that does not necessarily align with their functional reporting.
The Manager of Project Delivery and Analysis has the dual role of participating on projects and managing people. When working on projects, they may act as Delivery Lead for multiple projects simultaneously, managing the Delivery Team (who may or may not report directly to them) and directly engaging in project work on a day-to-day basis. In this role as a Delivery Lead, the TBD will work with executive and senior leadership, including C-suite members, across the system to implement high-priority, high-stakes, high-visibility opportunities for Mass General Brigham to be more efficient and to build collaborative efforts which improve the value of the system. This will include providing a broad range of project management, change management, analytic support, and other management support activities. Other times, the TBD may be assigned to a Delivery Team. The projects vary but generally require close collaboration with staff at all levels of the organization, in MGB Enterprise Services, and the MGB institutions.
Concurrently, the Manager will have 5+ direct reports fulfilling entry level and/or mid-level roles on delivery teams which may or may not be associated with the projects the Manager is assigned to. The Manager will be responsible for providing professional development coaching/mentoring/feedback to direct reports and helping to manage their workload.

Job Summary
A full-time Project Manager is being hired to manage activities, build and maintain program workflows, and oversee the work of clinical research coordinators for a program of clinical research with caregivers of persons living with dementia across the country.
This role reports to the study PIs in the Center for Health Outcomes and Interdisciplinary Research (CHOIR) within the Department of Psychiatry and will work in close collaboration with investigative team.
This role involves work on a Patient Centered Outcomes Research Institute (PCORI) project that will compare two evidence-based telehealth-delivered group behavioral interventions for elevated caregiver strain among those caring for a person living with dementia. The study will be enrolling 450 caregivers from large health care systems across the country that offer multidisciplinary dementia care (University of Colorado Health, University of Rochester Medical Center, Tufts Medical Center, MassGeneral Brigham). All study activities will take place within the MassGeneral Brigham CHOIR Dementia Caregiver Clinic. The mission of this work is to improve the mental health support provided to dementia caregivers across the country. This project is planned to run for 5 years.

* Prepare budgets and budget components for research sponsors, including foundation and federal funding sources, for ancillaries to the parent studies (Research Supplements).
* Prepare materials for submissions for post-award processes, including revised budgets and components and progress reports.
* Track and monitor study charges / expenses to conduct study activities, including interface with relevant institutional offices (supply chain, research finance)
* Use most up-to-date approved MGB templates for all finance management and reporting activities.
* Serve as point person, under supervision of PI(s) and designated investigators, hiring of staff
* Be responsible for day-to-day activities of assigning work projects, monitoring the rate of completed work of all the project staff, and directly supervising and evaluating the work of the project staff and serving as back-up.
