The Opportunity
As a Customer Service Analyst, you will provide superior customer service through answering our incoming calls and chat messages from both clients and agents. On this team of professionals there is an emphasis on treating clients like family and helping them with their requests as they plan for their financial future. In this role, you will be provided training to best prepare you for your daily tasks. Even after you complete training, subject matter experts are available for assistance with any follow up questions you may have. As a Customer Service Analyst, this role will also provide development and has future growth potential!
The work schedule is Monday - Thursday 10:00 AM - 7:00 PM EST and Friday 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM.
Job Responsibilities
* Develops skills to properly analyze incoming requests via phone, paper, and electronic communications to ensure customer satisfaction and retention.
* Actively seeks information to understand and analyze customer's circumstances, problems, expectations and needs to resolve difficult inquiries/issues.
* Clearly communicates complex information and solutions to customers in a helpful manner.
* De-escalate situations involving dissatisfied customers utilizing patience, assistance, and support methods.
* Maintains a professional & empathetic demeanor and in all interactions.
* Accurately updates, monitors & notates customer account details of client/agent interactions in multiple databases and CRM systems.
* Builds product knowledge of core annuity business to discuss products and/or product features, IRS tax qualifications and requirements.
* Acts as a liaison for customers as needed between departments or other aspects of the organization.
* Understands and explains complex topics such as interest, fee and death benefit calculation and the ability to communicate potential benefits/consequences of customer requests.
* Examine intricate contractual language, features and terms and interpret in an effective and efficient manner.
* Build understanding of components of frequently encountered entities, such as Power of Attorney, Trusts, Estates, Custodians as well as IRS tax forms.
* Complies with company and regulatory guidelines for performance.
* Prioritize and multi-task daily functions to positively influence productivity and quality in a fast paced, high-volume environment.
* Process financial and non-financial transactions in accordance with established procedures.
* Works to consistently meet specified requirements for performance and quality.
* Assists in researching complex issues or complaints which could require interdepartmental cooperation.
* Identify and recommend opportunities for process improvements and organizational initiatives.
* Performs other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications
* At least a high school diploma or equivalent
* At least 2 years of related customer service experience
* Exceptional verbal communication skills
* Strong attention to detail and ability to multi-task efficiently
* Able to work schedule of 10:00 AM - 7:00 PM EST Mondays - Thursdays, and 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM EST Fridays.

A Scrum Master plays an integral role in enabling Agile best practices to ensure the successful design and deployment of end-to-end analytical solutions to better serve our business partners. This role will support the Middle & Large Business organization as part of the Middle & Large Business Data Science, AI and Analytics team. The Middle & Large Business Data Science, AI and Analytics team is one of three practices (business-aligned teams) in the broader Business Insurance Data Science, AI and Analytics organization.
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Scrum Master to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for supporting two scrum teams by facilitating and guiding the Scrum process, ensuring that the team adheres to Agile principles and practices. The Scrum Master will work closely with the Product Owner and development team to deliver high-quality products and improve team efficiency.
As a Scrum Master, you will be expected to facilitate Scrum ceremonies such as team standups, PI planning, sprint refinement, and sprint planning, as well as support successful iterations through improved flow and ART performance. You will identify opportunities or antipatterns in existing processes/practices and coach the teams on new or improved behaviors. Additionally, this role provides support to the Data Science and Engineering teams by analyzing and generating insights on performance metrics and building relationships with other ART team members and business customers to help clear blockers and dependencies.
This role will have a Hybrid work schedule, with the expectation of working in an office (Columbus, OH, Chicago, IL, Hartford, CT or Charlotte, NC) 3 days a week (Tuesday through Thursday).
Responsibilities:
* Facilitate team stand-ups, sprint planning, sprint refinement, PI planning, and retrospectives.
* Ensure the team follows Agile practices and principles.
* Remove impediments and obstacles that hinder the team's progress.

Qualifications:
* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
* Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or equivalent certification.
* Proven experience as a Scrum Master in an Agile environment.
* Strong understanding of Agile principles and practices.
* Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
* Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
* Experience with Agile tools such as Rally.
Preferred Qualifications:
* Experience in the insurance industry.
* Advanced Scrum Master certification (e.g., Advanced Certified ScrumMaster, Certified Scrum Professional).
* Knowledge of other Agile frameworks (e.g., Kanban, Lean).

Compensation
The listed annualized base pay range is primarily based on analysis of similar positions in the external market. Actual base pay could vary and may be above or below the listed range based on factors including but not limited to performance, proficiency and demonstration of competencies required for the role. The Impact
Conduct back-office review and firm-acceptance of new and existing submissions related to Brokerage, Direct and Third-Party Advisory accounts.
Review trading activity of registered representatives through supervisory control procedures and application of firm policies and procedures and will require the associate to eventually become a subject matter expert for all previously referenced lines of Inforce Business, including a solid understanding of our platforms and systems.

The Opportunity
As a dedicated Benefits Advisor (Mid-Level), specializing in Health & Wellness, you will play a vital role in supporting the well-being of our employees and their families. You will be responsible for managing key benefits programs, ensuring compliance, and promoting a culture of health and wellness across USAA.
We offer a flexible work environment that requires an individual to be in the office 4 days per week.
This position can be based in one of the following locations: San Antonio, TX, Plano, TX, Phoenix, AZ, Colorado Springs, CO, Charlotte, NC, Chesapeake, VA or Tampa, FL.

What you'll do:
Program and vendor management for the vision and dental plans.
Subject matter expert for the wellness and fitness reimbursement programs.
Oversee family building program.
Responsible for onsite events such as the 5k across all campuses as well as the onsite biometric screenings.
Coordinate efforts to ensure HIPAA processes and controls meet standard to include monitoring the HIPAA training audience to verify the appropriate parties receive periodic training as well as work with compliance, privacy and learning teams to ensure HIPAA training curriculum is reviewed annually.
Applies proficient knowledge to provide guidance in the design, development, implementation, assessment and administration of benefit plans, programs, and services.
Supports the daily management of programs, regulatory compliance, contract compliance and contracted suppliers.
Researches and analyzes organizational trends, market data, and industry practices to identify root causes and address benefit issues to resolve efficient solutions.
Assists with raised issues on benefit programs.
Ensures vendors and benefit programs are integration and alignment with the Total Rewards philosophy.
Assesses supplier performance and contracts meet appropriate service levels to employees and plan participants.
Collaborates with the stakeholders to evaluate and modify objectives for employee benefit programs.
Evaluates the efficiency and impact of changes for benefits programs and initiatives.
Ensures legal compliance of regulations applying to assigned benefit programs and assesses the legal and regulatory environment that may impact current and/or future employee benefit offerings.
Researches and analyzes changes and improvements to programs to maintain compliance with federal regulations.
Assists with benefit projects and initiatives and serves on cross functional teams.
Coordinates with key team members on the development and implementation of systems and processes which support benefit projects and initiatives.
Implements the communication strategy around benefit plans, programs, and services to include open enrollment changes, pricing, plan details, and the various communication resources.
Researches and analyzes measures to ensure costs are minimized and efficiencies are realized and analyzes financial impacts to programs to minimize financial exposure.
Ensures risks associated with business activities are effectively identified, measured, monitored, and controlled in accordance with risk and compliance policies and procedures.
What you have:
Bachelor's degree; OR 4 years of related experience (in addition to the minimum years of experience required) may be substituted in lieu of degree.
4 years of experience in employee and retiree benefit plans, programs and services, to include health & welfare (self & fully insured programs), retirement benefits, experience in benefits supplier management, plan design, requirements development, program implementation, strategic communications, regulatory compliance, day-to-day administration and operations.
Experience leading and/or running projects/programs.
Working knowledge of data analysis tools and techniques.
Understanding of outsourced benefits administration and how to provide oversight of outsourced functions and programs.
Experience with documenting processes and identifying required controls; to include recommending and implementing solutions and responding effectively to sensitive inquires and complaints.
Working knowledge of defined benefit and defined contribution plans, deferred compensation and Health and Welfare plans.
Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office tools to include Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
Knowledge of federal laws, rules, and regulations to include: ERISA, COBRA, HIPAA, ACA, FMLA.
Compensation range: The salary range for this position is: $77,120.00 - $147,390.00.

The Minimum Qualifications
* High school diploma or GED

* $7K+ approval authority in disability insurance underwriting.
