The Delivery Driver is responsible for operating a parcel van and/or straight truck to transport life-saving medical products to our local customers. The Delivery Driver plays a critical role in building positive relationships with our customers by ensuring timely, accurate, and safe deliveries.
Job Description
Responsibilities:
Load and secure product from the Medline Facility into a parcel van and/or straight truck.
Safely operate a parcel van and/or straight truck between the Medline Facility and multiple customer destinations on a delivery route. Abide by Medline's safety regulations, including wearing safety equipment where needed, performing safety checks, etc.
Unload and deliver products at our customer facilities, ensuring timely deliveries.
Provide in-person support to the customer - addressing their questions and needs and providing appropriate documentation upon delivery.
Communicate with dispatching team regarding necessary adjustments to delivery route or schedule in order to meet customer needs and maintain safe operations.
Maintain a travel and cargo log in accordance with Federal and State regulations and company policy.
Perform inspection of vehicle to ensure safe operation and sufficient fuel levels for continued vehicle use.
Required Experience:
Valid US driver's license; Valid Commercial Learners Permit (CLP) for Class B License if required by state
Ability to meet Federal and State requirements for operation of commercial motor vehicles.
Clean driving record with no serious violations.

There are also two Long Term Acute Care facilities in San Antonio owned by PAM Health. This facility will service the north central San Antonio in the heart of the Thousand Oaks community.
The Manager, Pharmacy coordinates, directs, manages, facilitates, and oversees the execution and evaluates all administrative and clinical activities. Through the optimization of procedures, this role ensures consistent and efficient delivery to control costs, minimize waste, optimize customer relationships and deliver positive patient outcomes while maintaining compliance with Federal and state regulatory agencies. Along with maintain inventory control and budget, this role is responsible for staffing, monitoring staff activities, performance and achievement of individual and departmental goals.
Responsibilities
* Plans, coordinates, directs and evaluates all clinical activities as delegated by the Director of Pharmacy, including supervision of refilling machines, medical prescriptions database entries and dispatch of medicines.
* Plans, coordinates, directs and evaluates all administrative activities as delegated by the Director of Pharmacy, including scheduling of pharmacy technicians tasks, monitoring process compliance and monthly reporting.
* Implements process and procedures to comply with regulations for medicine handling including reception and storage of medicines, inventory and expenses controls.
* Manages day to day activities of the pharmacy technicians and monitors their performance to meet departmental goals.

Qualifications

Our Pharmacy Technicians demonstrate working knowledge of the policies and procedures regarding procurement, storage, preparation and delivery of pharmaceuticals in hospitals and health system settings. Assists the Pharmacist in filling prescription orders, as permitted by the State Boards of Pharmacy.
IV Compounding.
Handle doctor calls, faxes and medication deliveries.
Organizes medications for pharmacist to dispense by profiling prescriptions; preparing labels and calculating quantities.
Maintains a safe and clean pharmacy by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.
Takes inventory, places orders, checks in drugs and supplies, stocks shelves and removes out-of-date items from the inventory.

Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
Texas State Pharmacy Technician license required.
IV Certification required.
