Provides physical therapy interventions to designated patients under the supervision of a Physical Therapist (PT). Assists in monitoring patient progress through observations and follows up with supervising therapist. Works under PT supervision as required under NY State Education law.
• Follows established physical therapy plan of care, including physical therapy interventions and patient/caregiver education. Modifies specific treatment procedures in accordance with PT plan of care and Physical Therapy Assistant (“PTA”) scope of practice. • Documents all care provided and maintain records per VNS Health policy and standards. • Assists in monitoring patient progress through observation and follows up with Supervising Therapist in accordance with VNSNY policy. • Complies with scope of practice for PTA, including a co-visit with Physical Therapist on all initial PTA visits and keeps PT informed. PT will re-assess patient every 6 visits or 30 days (whichever comes first). • Manages assigned caseload; provides physical therapy services to patients as directed per PT plan of care. • Participates in VNS Health meetings, including but not limited to, interdisciplinary team meetings, in-service and training programs, rehab services meetings and caseload reviews. • Travels to patients' homes and/or other facilities with varying environments (e.g., elevated buildings, walk-ups, care facilities, single/multiple family homes, presence of pets, etc.) using approved transportation options to deliver direct care to the patient. • Assists patients with therapeutic interventions and activities of daily living, which may require positioning, moving, transferring and lifting patients of varying body sizes and physical conditions, with and without assistance and as appropriate, instructing, demonstrating and verifying capabilities of family members and/or paraprofessionals. Ability to use and assist patient with use durable medical equipment as a component of the plan of care, including but not limited to wheelchairs, patient transfer lifts, ambulatory devices, slings, splints, orthoses, prostheses, and exercise/strengthening equipment. • Provides care in accordance with Agency policies, practices, procedures and standards, including professional practice standards of care, which may require standing, stooping, sitting, crouching, twisting, reaching, bending and stretching to deliver patient care. • Transports and utilizes required technology devices (tablet), infection control materials and supplies using VNS Health designated/supplied carrying case (backpack) weighing approximately 15 - 20 lbs to and from patient homes/care facilities, VNS Health offices and therapists' home. • Participates in special projects and performs other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Licenses and Certifications:
New York State Certification as Physical Therapist Assistant Required Valid driver's license may be required, as determined by operational/regional needs.
Education:
Associate's Degree as Physical Therapist Assistant from a New York State approved program or whose educational credentials have been approved equivalent by New York State Required
Work Experience:
Minimum of two years experience in clinical patient care (per NY State Education Law) Required Bilingual skills may be required, as determined by operational needs. Basic PC skills Preferred

USD $33.88 - USD $42.35 /Hr.

JOB SUMMARY

Interact cooperatively and professionally with guests and spa team, demonstrating respect, sensitivity, and attentiveness, following all company guidelines.
Provide knowledgeable and thorough massage therapy and body treatment services, while demonstrating professionalism, respect, and sensitivity to guest needs.
Provide guest consultation and personalized recommendations, based on guest's needs, as well as sell and upsell retail products and enhancement treatments.
Responsible for fostering client relationships to enhance satisfaction, ensure repeat business, and support client retention initiatives.
Setup and break down of designated treatment area with the highest respect of fellow co-workers by maintaining neat and well-stocked work areas.
Comply with and maintain safety, sanitation, and disinfection standards, properly clean and sanitize products, rooms, tools and equipment, following TRILOGY and State Governing Boards requirements and guidelines.
Provide guests with a tour of the spa facility, as needed.
Communicate guest complaints or any maintenance issues to Spa Management.

REQUIRED EDUCATION AND PREFERRED EXPERIENCE

Our client, a leading telehealth platform, is expanding rapidly and looking for a dedicated Therapist to join their virtual care team. The team will consider independently Licensed Therapists in the United States for any of the following licenses: Professional Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Clinical Social Work
You will provide exceptional care to a diverse patient population, ensuring they receive the best possible care from the comfort of their homes. As a vital member of the team, you will listen thoughtfully, engage with patients in a personable manner, and help shape the future of mental health delivery.

Key Responsibilities
Conduct weekly or bi-weekly therapy sessions (45 minutes each) with a designated panel of clients.
Provide 15-40 hours of weekly availability, with flexibility to schedule sessions during business hours, evenings, or weekends (6:00 AM-11:30 PM in your timezone).
Collaborate with prescribers managing clients' medication to ensure comprehensive care.
Engage in ongoing training, case consultations, and professional development initiatives.
Participate in organizational efforts to enhance clinical quality, safety, and operational processes.
Maintain clinical documentation in a fully integrated, data-enabled EMR system.
Qualifications
Licensure & Education: Master's degree in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or related field, with active and unrestricted licensure (LCSW, LPC, LMFT, etc.); multistate licensure preferred.
Experience: Minimum of 2-3 years of post-licensure clinical experience, preferably with telehealth platforms, and proficiency in evidence-based approaches like CBT, DBT, or trauma-informed care.
Technical Proficiency: Comfort with telemedicine tools, electronic health records (EHR), and basic troubleshooting for seamless virtual sessions.
Communication & Interpersonal Skills: Strong ability to build rapport, convey empathy, and maintain therapeutic alliances through virtual interactions.
Cultural Competence: Skilled in working with diverse populations and understanding cultural nuances; fluency in additional languages (e.g., Spanish) is a plus.
Personal Attributes: Organized, self-motivated, and adaptable, with a professional, distraction-free workspace and flexibility to accommodate various schedules.
Compliance & Development: Knowledge of HIPAA, telemedicine regulations, and commitment to continuing education with proof of malpractice insurance.

Compensation Package: We offer a competitive compensation package designed to reward your contributions and drive your success-
Base Salary: Enjoy a base service (50-minute Swedish massage) rate ranging from $20.00-$25.00, tailored to reflect your experience and skills.
Commission: Benefit from our uncapped commission structure, providing substantial earning potential based on your sales performance. Upgrades range from $3-$8, depending on the service. Our top performers typically earn an additional $6-$9 per hour from upgrades.
Tips: Enjoy average tips ranging from 18% to 25% of the nonmember price. Credit card tips come directly to you via our partner, Tippy. The average tip on our base service is $20-$30 and goes up incrementally with upgrades.
Total Average Earnings: With our competitive base rate and uncapped commission structure, our full-time high performing Massage Therapists typically earn an average total annual compensation ranging from $65,000 to $88,000, depending on individual performance (based on 30 service hours/week). Our part-time high performing Massage Therapists typically earn an average total annual compensation ranging from $33,000 to $44,000, depending on individual performance (based on 15 service hours/week).
As a Massage Therapist, you will
Maintain an active Massage Therapy license, and adhere to state/county licensing laws and regulations
Carry your own massage liability insurance
