Participate in continuing education and professional development to stay up-to-date with current therapeutic massage techniques and hospice care practices. Provide emotional support to patients and families, showing empathy and respect for their individual needs and preferences. Qualifications: Valid and current state licensure as a Massage Therapist (LMT) required. Experience in providing therapeutic massage to individuals with serious or life-limiting illnesses preferred. Knowledge of hospice philosophy, palliative care, and end-of-life issues is a plus. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a compassionate and patient-centered approach. Ability to work independently and as part of a multi-disciplinary team. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Flexibility to travel to patient homes and various care settings. Current CPR and First Aid certification preferred. Ability to maintain professionalism in sensitive and emotional situations.
