It is the responsibility of the therapist to establish individualized massage therapy services to best meet patient needs. Work closely with complementary therapy staff, and advocate for additional therapies services through continuing education. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Provide 30-60-90-minute massages, consecutively Provide chair massages, scheduled by the minute, up to 20 minutes Talk with clients about their symptoms, medical history, and desired results Evaluate clients to locate painful or tense areas of the body Manipulate muscles and other soft tissues of the body Provide clients with guidance on stretching, strengthening, overall relaxation, and how to improve their posture Suggest future appointments and regime Document clients' conditions and progress in chart, with detailed history Maintain equipment and inventory of products/supply Keep a clean and stocked room Assists patients with any concerns, directing them in the area needed Assists with Aesthetic supply orders and inventory for specific services Assists with management of social media and collaborates in some marketing concepts. Converts call/inquiries into appointments Suggest and promote retail products or additional services Maintains OSHA and HIPAA compliance. May perform other incidental tasks, as needed.
