A Brief Overview

Accountabilities:
1. Team Member: Works under the direction of the physical therapist in providing skilled physical therapy treatment plans in accordance with physician orders and by assessing and interpreting evaluations and test results of patients. Establish and maintain effective working relationships with physicians, staff and management. Attends meetings as requested. Perform other duties as assigned.
2. Daily Operations: Assures continuation of therapeutic plan following discharge by designing home exercise programs; instructing patients, recommending and/or providing assistive equipment; recommend follow-up programs. Maintain patient records confidentiality.
3. Clinical Operations: Maintain work area, exam rooms and supplies. Maintain professional appearance and personal conduct at all times. Follow all of Dynamix Physical Therapy policies and procedures. Keep regular clinic hours as approved by the clinic director.
4. Reporting/Communication: Report and communicate with physical therapists routinely.
Qualifications:
A graduate from an accredited physical therapy assistant program.
Current Physical Therapist Assistant license.
Current CPR license.
